Thanks, DonC! That is more than we got in Nashville, where the games were played by the way! Sunday, The Tennessean just put the times that the games were played on Saturday. Monday, we got box scores for the Father Ryan/GPS game and a final score of the Baylor/JP II game!

While there is always room for improvement, I would venture to say that among the top 4 metro areas in Tennessee, Chattanooga may have the most soccer-friendly press. Having said that, I think many of the smaller cities seems to VERY supportive of their local sports, soccer included.

I've also been surprised with the (1) large number of articles on girl's soccer as evidenced on this thread (though I'm sure we've missed some), and also by the large number of you who have read this thread this season.

I'm confused! This article in the Knoxville News Sentinel says "Porter, who already owns the Bearden career-scoring mark, set a school single-season record with her 39th goal." Yet in the exact same paper (on the page before this) she is listed with 28 goals (11 assists, 39 points) for the season. Which is correct? I think they meant she had 39 points, not goals? Anyone know for sure?

The Chattanooga media has been very good to area high school soccer. When local teams are making a run at a state title we even get some good TV coverage.
