Maplewood has really done nothing yet this year to warrant being picked in this one....

2 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. the deffense will score more then that man. i said mhs wins 13-0. but now i have a change of heart. mhs 36

Maybe that big ole Hunters Lane coach with the broken arm won't get into a fight with the Maplewood players (during pregame) like he did at the jamboree a few weeks ago.........

 

Is Cantrell playing this week for Maplewood boski??????? How about #11??????

 

Cantrell should be back .. dont think #11 is ready just yet ... so #12 gets the start and will do a great job.. and with that said .. Maplewood rolls in this one as well!

This is an off the subject question directed toward boski or any other Maplewood fan who wants to answer.

 

Boski, give me your opinion of Memphis East. The first game of the season Maplewood beat them 13-6 and that score surprised me. Last year Memphis East didn't do so well for a number of reasons. This year, they appear to be pretty good. I have been meaning to ask you this for a while now. Thanks.

By the score I take it they had there chances right Boski.. ?

 

I'll tell you what I still think about that game at Paris, last year that was the best high school game I have seen in sometime.. And HEY dude don't you get them Pats to stirred up this year.. because if you face them again this year they win BOOK IT.. *BIG SMILE*

 

Glad to see them boys from last year break through and with small squad too.. Can't ignore that more work for them all right?

This game was not as close as the score would indicate.

Maplewood benefited from 3 bad calls to keep it close.

Maplewood had only 1 first down for the entire game.

They had 0 yards the second half.

If HL had taken care of the ball better, it would have been a blowout.

And, HL took a knee on the Maplewood 1 yard line in the final minutes.

 

Congrats Warriors from the class of '08!

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
