The way I hear it Oneida won't schedule Scott!

 

ughhhh!!! A big amen to kaz. lets stay on topic. I think scott will pull off the upset or not an upset depending on how ya look at it. any way I take the highlanders in a tough one. I think coach gillam is doing a great job. I think he has a great staff. good coaches good people. I just hope the powers that be give him all the support and other things he will need to keep bringing that program back to where it should be. go Highlanders

I believe that is because the players and fans here in Scott County have learned to play their football on grass, not within the coacht website. (the AE game over the past few years has taught us well) Do we think any less of our teams chances this season.....I would say no, but they aren't going to broadcast their confidence in themselves for all the world to see. AE is the top of the food chain until Scott does what they need to for four quarters. Turtle, this "silence" shouldn't surprise you at all.....a little humble pie goes a long way. I root for the County team all season long, I truely wish them well Friday Night. If they do it on the field, I can assure you.....you will definitely hear more noise! /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":rolleyes:" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Every year we hear about how Scott County is going to beat AE. But like most of you are saying Scott hasn't played anyone yet therefore AE should win this game hands down.. However, AE's offense will have to start showing up....

 

I say AE by 12+

 

So true! I love Scott, but lets face it, they do have the tendancy to think they can hang with AE. I have yet to see it. Usually AE blows them out.

OK, if Scott turns the ball over like they did against Gibbs, and Stone, this one gets real ugly! However if they protect the ball a respectible game is possible. If this were at Scott maybe 10 or less, but being at AE, Scott has two chances, slim and none! They will play well I think.

Okay Big Red, this is your chance to shine. Be sure to remember when the AE players taunted you and everything you stand for. I remember these words as I stood on the fence line hearing the AE players say such phrases as "What a joke," "how lame," or even on this board as you were constantly targeted as the "hounds of heck," Go out tomorrow night and show them what all the traditions you have mean to you. For years, I have heard some SHS fans say we are never respected. A word of advice: TAKE IT!!!! Take your respect, show them that you are not the doormat of Region 2-3A. GO OUT AND HIT THEM RIGHT IN THE MOUTH DON'T LET THEM HIT YOU FIRST BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO FIGHT TAKE IT TO THEM FROM THE FIRST WHISTLE. To you seniors, you have one more shot at these guys go out and make it one of the most memorable moments of your high school careers. You guys have been hyped up to be the senior class that would help bring SHS football back to the forefront, tomorrow night is the perfect opportunity to get a head start on getting that done. Uh no we don't have Harriman Blue Devil in here talking stuff about AE! If I'm not mistaken AE wasn't full strength when you all scrimmage in EARLY AUGUST!!! Plus they didn't have some of their key players but the scrimmage was even and you know that... But its all good, AE just have to shut you people up because you all are downing them. This may be the game when AE hush all the critics up. I think Scott you're coming into AE at the wrong time.. I have a feeling that AE offense will be clicking on all cylinders and the defense will continue being the smack in the mouth-shut'em down Defense...

      Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.

      It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.

      That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.

      Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.

      Facts...until someone takes down the Rebels they should be the favorite. Got loads of young guys salivating at the opportunity to prove themselves and get a 3peat! Blazer how is Region 1 looking this year?
