Unionville's New Coach

So I was looking for a comfirmation earlier in the summer about the rumor of Misty (Lamb) Thompson giving up her coaching job for the Unionville Viqueens. Now that I know the rumor, is true I was wondering if I could find any information about the new coach. And I was Also wondering if the assistant coach would be returning. Any information at all would be of use.Unionville's New Coach

Just heard that the new coach is from Hickman Co. by the name of Garrett. Don't know anything about him though.

talk about being left hi & dri that's just what coach Thompson did to the girls & the principal at unionville. I really hope the incoming coach will show just a little more respect for those who are working thier backsides off to have a team. the girls have seen no action since last season so I'd say they're going to be a little behind in the early going. I just want to wish them & their new coach lots of luck & hopefully a successful season.

where did coach thompson go? why did she resign? does she have another coaching job?

Coach Tompson supposivley left her coaching position because of family issues. Or atleast that's what I heard. I also heard from more than one person that she just couldn't cut it anymore. And no she does not have a caoching job anywhere elae.cut it

Sidetrain: I can understand that folks might have their own opinions about coaches, but I find it interesting that you hope for a new assistant coach. I don't really know much about their program but why would you single out an assistant when an assistant coach really has very little effect on the team's direction? Most of the assistant coaches I have been associated with could only follow the lead of the head coach

Go to softball board if you want to know how Jim feels. He does not get on or even look at the basketball board. He support the kids that play it but LOVES FASTPITCH SOFTBALL. He has had thoughts on that.
