justicenfootball99
Yes they are, the Karns freshman are now 6-0 after beating a mixed freshman JV team at Carter, this team as talent, well coached and they seem to have a great team attitude. Does anyone know anything about the head Coach; Coach Morris? I was told he as had this group of boys 5 or 6 years, A parent of one of the freshman says that the Coach Morris gives all the credit to his coaches and the kids. They have a tough game tonight against JC freshman, Karns has a couple of boys injured right now according to my daughtes boyfreind. It will be interesting to see how this team does the next few years. ya they got upset finally. they just didnt come with the same heart as jeff co. they did probably still have more talent but that aint the important part they lost... but they were embarrassed i dont think there gonna lose another one. yes coach morris is a very good coach and has been with this team for 6 years but there are only 3 of them have been on the team for 5 years. they are ironically some of the most talented players on the team. the qb runnin back and one of the leadin recievers are those

Not all played for him for 5 years but, they did at least play for him 1 season, and from what I have been told they all are contributors to the team. Those boys names are John Costar (RB) Zack Thomas (QB) Seth Linderman (WR) Frankie Sommers (WR) Timmy Holt (RB) Daniel Hodge (OL) Bryan Joyner (OLLB) CW Love (CB) Austin Huff (CB,S) Tony Arlington (LB), not sure on your only three but regardless I watched this team play all season and they are for sure coached well and the play together as a team, The JC game was about as flat as I have seen them all year. I was also told that Coach Morris felt like the team needed a loss to get them back on focus.

They are sitting at 7-0, and from what I hear, haven't had much of a struggle yet. I have been to two of their games (MBA and Oakland), and they have to be the most athletic bunch of Freshmen I have seen.

Do you know of any other players that played for Coach Morris that may be joining the team?

jc57
why is no one talking about jeff county's 1-loss freshmen? their quarterback (Bristoe Bible) has got one of the best arms we have seen in awhile. but the thing that amazes me about him is his decision-making. he has only thrown about 3 int's, and his completion percentage is low 70's. watch for him in years to come. though lacking big bruisers at RB that jeff county is known for, the freshman team has Will Branner and a few other very good backs. one kid that is always turning heads is Brandon Smiley. wow. Smiley is a huge playmaker, and he's one of the biggest freshman LB/TE's ive seen. they have a big, solid o-line, and a very good DT in matthew shelley. the kicker, though lacking leg strength, is extremely accurate. his only miss on the season was his first field goal, which could be expected with a new kicker's nerves. watch for Eric Keena to challenge Schuchart next year. this freshman team had a lot to live up to after last year's undefeated freshman team (6 players from last year's freshmen are now staring varsity at jchs) watch out Region 1-5A. jefferson county's young guns are loaded with talent. in 2 years, this could be a state championship-caliber team

No disrespect to the JC fresh but, I would really like to see a rematch with Karns just to see how it would turn out. The JC QB did not nearly seem to be as good as the Powell QB and for sure is no where near the talent that the Karns QB is.
