What exactly happened with that? Was there a scuffle w/ a Clinton coach or something? I missed that somehow, and see references every so often.

After the game last year Stanton got into it with a person from Clinton. I think it was a coach but it might have been a parent. It happened on the field after the game.

 

I really don't think Stanton would have to smack Hitch very hard to slap him silly. He might only have to walk up behind him and say BOO!!

Random thoughts about the game....

 

South Doyle had some huge players.

 

South Doyle's QB threw the ball well...receivers had too many dropped balls or threw their hands.

 

Great game by Chris Jordan. Started the game with an impressive return for 6, 2 interceptions...1 for a touchdown, and another receiving tochdown.

 

It was good to see Julien back. Other 3 QBs did a nice job. Congratulations to Chamberlain for the nice touchdown pass.

 

Shuler looked very strong! He ran the ball very well against a stout defense.

 

3 quarter was very painful...I didn't think Maryville would every get the ball.

 

Congratualtions to the Seniors...a lot of great families on the field before the game.

 

The boys now have a week off...time to heal, take a break before the playoff run, and learn a new GQ trick play or two for the playoffs.
