Well coming from an outsider, I think since Hampton BEAT Grace and Cosby beat Hampton,Cosby should win.

I think Cosby 35....Grace 14..

looks can be deceiving. cosby will have to play their best game of the season to win. they cant wait until after halftime to start playing. dont get me wrong, the eagles have all the talent in the world. probably the best cosby TEAM i have seen. they are a close knit bunch that does not quit until the final horn. that was evident in the hampton game. you dont see that much anymore. they believe in one another and listen to the coaches. it will be tight game in my opinion. GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! /motorbike.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":motorbike:" border="0" alt="motorbike.gif" />

HarrimanBoy13,

Do you think it will be a clean region 2 sweep the first round of the playoffs? I'm kinda thinking the same thing. I definately think 3 out of 4 will take the first round win from region 2.

Me too I think all 4 region teams will sweep region 1 unless coalfield beats us Friday then they will get beat 1st round, but coalfield is not good at all so we should take care of business. Not to down region 1 they just aren't that great this year i believe if any team from region 1 wins in the 1st round it will be cosby or hampton.

I'd be agreeing with that too if I was you looks like you will HAVE to be hoping for a sweep for your bluedevils to get a win in the playoffs.............you guys are gonna make the playoffs right? Its lookin like Harriman will be coming to Cosby for the first round if everything goes according to plan , Good luck with that /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Ya our team has to beat Coalfield this Friday to make the playoffs, Coalfield isn't very good at all. But I think we can beat Coalfield but regardless its going to be a tough road in the playoffs especially since we're gonna have to travel to Cosby more than likely good luck to your team though. Just please beat the crap out of Grace this coming Friday

Old24Eagle,

Would you like for me to send you my favorite MUFFIN recipe and you can bake MUFFINS this week and give to TheGraceChristianAcademy or whatever his name was? I will be glad to send it your way. You could force feed him a MUFFIN during halftime. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Cosby is probably the 4th or 5th best team out of regions 1 & 2 this season. I'm not being ugly just stating an unbiased opinion. On another note, I must agree with Leon. I wish you and your buddies from Cosby would force feed Grace Christian some muffins of your choice.

so what are the teams on the other side of the bracket looking like? Oneida then greenback then harriman then ??? Is this a good assumption?

I think it would be funny Ambassador. I think Old24Eagle, Eagle3314, and ENHwasps should force feed Grace some patented Leon style MUFFINS. It would definately be worth the 5 bucks to get into the game. /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />

Well 1st,2nd and 3rd is still up in the air. harriman can finish no better than 4th. Midway hosts Greenback this friday and then Greenback hosts Oneida on halloween night.Oneida has done beat Midway.Midway could possibly beat Greenback and finish 2nd if Oneida can beat Greenback as well.Like I said, this Region still isn't set yet.

    • Eagleville hosting shows laziness on the part of the TSSAA and a complete disregard for the appearance of impartiality. Absolutely nothing against EHS. Its not their fault TSSAA is lazy.    I understand EHS staff work the games at Eagleville, and they don’t want to miss the EHS games. However this isn’t rocket science. It would take less than 1 hour to cross-train EHS and RHS volunteers at the opposite sites. If Eagleville (or any host)  makes the tournament, flip their game site and have the volunteers flip sites for the days their school plays at the opposite site. Magically the school’s fans would be present to watch the their kids play and the kids at least lose some familiarity and home field advantage.  It takes almost no effort and is a ~15 minute extra drive.
    • We feel the pain!
    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
