HOW DO YA'LL THINK THE WARREN COUNTY COACHES ARE DOING?

every person on the staff are great people of the community i have always said that but does good people win football games ...every game i have seen our team has been not very well prepared seems to me a staff could work on turnovers- penalties-missed tackles during the week before games this stuff has been going on for 2 yrs and its always the same every week unless we are playing a team that isnt good enough to take advantage of our mistakes..like i said before look at the numbers and go from that..i give them a D- that matches their records...BUT we dont need to forget the BB coaches and MR.UPTON and MR.HOLT...

Teh coaches have done an oustanding job.

Why don't you tell us what you do so we can evaluate you?

I played at WC and graduated in 91 but have since moved and am an Off Coord in west TN. Madewell is a great person, he was a great player, i think it can be reasonably deduced that he either is or can be a great coach. Give him time to build his program! By the way I am trying to get in touch with Barry Dillard! If you know how to get in touch with him email me at nscoach@yahoo.com! Thanks!

Seems like everybody around the mid state, coaches & fans, are impressed with job that coach Madewell has done. Except for a few parents!!!!!!

what i've realized since i've lived hear is that if we don't agree with some people around hear your wrong. i think ten years ago we had a tougher schedule than we had now. i've not said anything bad about anybody. (us parents) lets talk to us freshman parents and see how many kids want to quit now. thats your future, nnow some are going to say we didn't have that many anyway, you may have less next year, i appreciate what the coaches at the high school has done but we don't want to settle with one and done do we. it seems as long as we parents don't make waves everybody is happy. maybe i need to get with every parent and tell them not to voice a opinion because we need to set back and shut up. and its not just the football coaches i'm talking about. and lets get the coaches at the booster club meetings.

these threads do alot of harm and not much good In my opinion .....Sure the coaching staff isnt perfect but I only know of one person who was. We can fire this coaching staff which is rumored to happen IF they dont win a playoff game. But will it help ? Replacing coaches Is the quick fix for Warren County and That mentality got us the DARK years of 0-39,Maybe WE all as a community need to get behind the Coaching Staff ,tell them what a good job there doing with a young team. How ground breaking is would that be to see a thread titled ..I love my Warren County football Coaching staff ...? NO matter what the Coaching staff does there not going to make every parent happy ....ITS JUST NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ....

HERE IS WHERE THE RUBBER MEETS THE ROAD ...

IS your kid doing everything he can to be a WC football player ?IS he staying late after practice ? Is He lifting extra ?Is he running extra ?Does he Know the plays to run more than his position ? Does he fill in on scout team ? Does he participate on Scout team ? Does he willingly line up in front of Cody Robinson ,Morgan Wilcher ,etc etc Or Does he hold up the line behind the scout team ?Does he suddenly become Injured and become part of the SVU during conditioning ?....I can go on and on but ill switch to you for a minute ...

ARE YOU DOING EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO BE A PIONEER ??.....Talking BAD about coaches infront of your kid,Letting him miss practice ,getting him early from practice ,dropping him late to practice ,SUPPORTING HIS COACHES,Taking a interest in what hes supposed to be doing ,teaching him to respect his coaches,Pushing him to be the best PIONEER he can be ,Getting him Vitamins Nutritieants before and after practice (mcdonalds doesnt count),asking him why he likes football, helping him understand football,...(im sure you get the Idea by now )...........................................................

The talent Level that the sophmore group has Is very high ,there will be a let down when they leave UNLESS we can get some of the TALENTED KIDS out of the school.... The freshman team is down tremendously 11 to 13 kids by my understanding ,they will get a influx of 17 to 20 8th graders next year but the talent in those 2 groups just isnt there (RIGHT NOW..Im not saying it cant get better ).

IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO THIS WE AS A COMMUNITY HAVE TO GET BEHIND THE COACHING STAFF AND THE PLAYERS !TAKE PRIDE IN OUR FOOTBALL TEAM !! YELL HOLLER KICK SCREAM ROOT THEM ON !!!!

on a side note

I hear Rankins wanting to come back to Mid TN Someone Go ask the powers that be If we can afford his sallary Im sure everyone already knows that answer ../rant over(spelling doesnt count )

its threads and attitudes like this that are killing this program.....the kids get on here and read this stuff too....no wonder they dont want to be a part of a program when the people that say they support it go online under an alias to rip it apart....everyone's got an opinion and a right to that dont get me wrong and i respect everyone's the same...but if you're going to rip the program on here go ahead and do it out in the real world also.......on the freshmen note: yeah their numbers are horrible, but there are some good kids in that group...i think a lot of the would-be-freshmen players didnt come out in fear of having to go up against upper classmen. that's just part of it at the high school level...the freshmen that did come out this year will benefit greatly from the experience they got from practicing with bigger stronger athletes.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
