logcabinman
It is obvious, barring a major injury, MC ladies should dominate this district and their region this year. Where do the other teams stack up?
ball101
don't forget about Tyner Academy, they have some Senior Leadership and also have some new talent as well.

Cool, but MC will have the same team as last years. A shot away from play in the state championship, which they probably would have won that game. CAN'T WAIT TO START !!!!

mayspeed
Is Brainard and Polk returning many? For the most part. But each did loose a key player or two. You never know what incoming freshman will do. Remember the 2005 season at Central.....

Remember the 2005 season at Central..... Mcminn looks good and no doubt they will be there at the end but the ball still has to go in the air. Tyner has alot of transfers and talent can't wait to see what Brainerd looks like.
Iceman14
these teams will have talent but as far as predictions.. you gotta go with Central a team that goes to state and loses nobody... they gotta be number one til someone knocks them off... Kylie Lambert should have a great year but they're strength is the depth.. they don't lose a whole lot when their bench steps onto the floor. Indian
Who did Tyner get in and where had they been playing?

High School this year. There will be a huge Central crowd and for once, I will not need to drive a long way. (GAS !!!) ball101 please remember... It' McMinn Central not Mcminn. thanks
kmillikan
Here is where the teams stood going into the last week last year. I would expect something similar for the 2008-2009 season. Central and Brainerd holding the 1 and 2 spots. Polk, Tyner, Tellico, and Sweetwater fighting for the middle spots. Sequoyah, Meigs, and Boyd will be fighting each other to stay out of the play-in game. Girls District 5AA Feb 8th 2008 ---------------------------------- McMinn Cen(06) 15-0 Brainerd(18) 12-3 Polk County(22) 9-5 Chat Tyner(52) 9-6 Tellico(43) 8-7 Sweetwater(42) 7-7 Boyd Buch(77) 4-12 Meigs Co (78) 3-12 Sequoyah (99) 0-15 (Coacht Rank) (02/08//08)
