ok couple things,

 

first off i personally cannot prove Yazzie guaranteed a win but what i had heard was he was interviewed and asked about the game and he said they would win.... i know this rumor to be true because i know that the Fanklin high football team used it as extra motivation....

 

secondly, i havent seen the tape but if my memory serves me Yazzie was in either both or one of the consecutive 50+ yard rushes that alex ford had.... and we ran it to his side each time either he wasnt able to get out of a block or he got beat to the sideline(mostlikely a combination of both.

 

Yazzie is a good player he is a great player(when playing against his normal competition). his highlight reel was a lot of fun to watch. but idk who said it but someone said we couldnt contain Yazzie at all.... thats crazy. yes he did make some great catches ill give him that but he was completly shut down on punt returns and kick returns(he had a couple decent KR in the 2nd half against our backups though that made it to maybe the 40 yd line). But you cannot say he dominated because he did well in one aspect of his game when inevitably he plays four ways(PR,KR,D,offense) and his only success was catching the ball... he did nothing in any other aspect.....

this is not an attack on Yazzie as i think he is a great player im just stating that Franklin shut him down.

 

Next, it wasnt just not hendersonvillle's night if that were the case it would have been close.... what happened here was a weak region being even more exposed than they already were.....

 

and i really do not think Yazzie has better college potential than Alex Ford but that might just be my opinion but i highly doubt it...

 

Last thing, even if Hville scored on that one possesion making it 28-14 they are stilll down 2 TDs and they had yet to show any signs of stopping Franklin's running game so i doubt it would have effected much.

 

Hvillle good job yall had a good season 10-2 is good no matter who you play. good luck next year and enjoy your offseason.

BRENTWOOD MIIDLE SCHOOL could go 10-2 in your region - cmon Hillwood. mcgavock,glencliff,Antioch,overton ( gallatin a team that # 3 seed Centenial beat )Hunters lane ( destroyed by FHS )

As for Mr yaz being a D1 prospect no way shape or form will he go D1 ( defensive side of the ball not a chance and exposed big time against FHS and Gallatin ) he runs a 4.67 to slow

offense yeah the kid could return some kicks/punts but you better look at some other kids in Tennessee High schools as there are far more better returners. and they dont offer full rides at a D1 school to a punt/kick returner only..... rushing only 25 - 129 yards

 

wide reciever nope biggest thing is the system didnt help him at HHS but he disappeared and too many teams this year took him out of games D1 prospects dont dissapear even with double coverge

YOUR YAZZIE didnt even finish the top reciever in the regular season in YOUR OWN region he finished third (3) with a whopping 28 receptions for 447 yards behind Hartzell (overton) 43 rec/ 521 yards and Gleaves 40 rec / 871 yards (Antioch) Gleaves is getting the D1 props... look at 6-5a region top three recievers J Eaton ( Franklin) 31 rec / 860 yds R Fitzpatrick ( Ravenwood ) 37 rec / 692 yards and C Williams ( Indy ) 32 rec / 537 yards again Eaton is getting D1 props

so with that in just those two regions yazzie didnt have the stats, break away speed as the other 5 kids and so forth.....

look at stats from the yaz (below) will D1 be impressed with that?

Well first off you got ur stats are wrong. yazzie had 34 receptions and 655 yards receiving. He had 1 td for a kick off return and 3 tds for punt returns. he was #1 for punt returns. also he had 2000 all purpose yards. so that proves you are not very good at getting your stats right. lets not embrasses yourself again and you say yazzie isnt d1 material are you kidding. his stats are pretty good and Franklin doubled and tripled teamed him the whole night and he still got 76 yard receiving i guess that stinks with double coverage the whole game. yeah he didn't get to return any punts because your your punter is pretty good and the coverage was great. again once what is your name again because you will pay up when he goes to d1.

well first you messed up because yaz had a game against overton were he had 150 yards alone and he is the #1 return man in the state and the reason his numbers arent as big as some other receivers in region 5-6 is simply because Hendersonville throws the ball 6-10 times a game.

Hey I think a kid from hillsboro e gordan is the main return man in middle tn.. Ford from fhs had close to over 1600 all p yds and consider he split time with k. Lee at tailback.
