Fonz
Wow, this should be a great game to watch. CPA beat them for the region but I think this game is a pick em, could go either way. Goodpasture must stop Z. Mason but he is so big and has such good hands you just can't stop him completely. Better get there early cause it's gonna be packed. robjim
Would be nice to be 2-0 in 08 against them, but this one will be a good one. Mr Cunningham will again have our full attention.

TropicalStorm
I can't wait for this one. This should be a very close match between 2 very good teams. I just hope the outcome is different than 2 weeks ago!

CPA4Ever
GP had beaten us 5 in a row until a couple of weeks ago. That game was closer than the score, and could have gone either way. It will be quite a challenge to beat them twice in one year. I can't imagine a more closely matched game. It will be decided by penalties, turnovers and special teams. Everything else is so even between these two teams. I wouldn't dare bet on this one.

What do think about this great 3rd round match? -------------------------------- Cougars should have everyone back from injury for this one. This will be a hard fought game in the trenches. TRADITION
-------------------------------- Cougars should have everyone back from injury for this one. This will be a hard fought game in the trenches. Learn from the past.... I know the boys have been looking forward to this rematch. I hope the weather is good and the refs keep the flags in their pocket and let the boys decide this one! Congradulations to both schools, Friday can't come soon enough! CPA4Ever
Both of these teams have some great players and great tradition, but make no mistake - this game is always about a chess match between two GREAT coaching staffs, who know how to get the most from their talent, and prepare for an opponent. It is a coaching contest as much as a players' contest. Both teams will have a good game plan. Execution by the players will be the difference. Penalties, missed tackles and assignments, turnovers - the coaches can't control. One observation about this game. With GP, you know who you have to defend to win - Cunningham. And that is a tough task because of his speed and talent. With CPA, you can't play shutdown on just one player. Fairview keyed on Z Mason and Kemp, and CPA's "passing QB", Roman, had over 100 yards rushing. And don't let the CPA/Fairview score fool you. CPA controlled the game for 3 quarters, allowing FV to have a good 3rd quarter by making big mistakes with turnovers, penalties, and lack of execution on a couple of key plays. FV didn't get past midfield in the 1st half (probably had no net yards), but CPA only got 6 points on 3 trips inside the 15 YL, and 6 trips into FV territory. Hopefully, they got a sloppy game out of their system. This game will be a good one - too hard to call.
