Tony has done so much for Oneida's program...he is one of the best defensive coaches in this area. Even at AC he would have an average defense, but could turn it into something speacial...he knows his football...loves his kids and gives honor where it's do....Pride, Class, Character....man what a great slogan coming from a great coach.

Good luck next week I hope to see a barn burner.

Vic Grider, all others are fighting for second place!

I disagree here guys. Vic is a good coach with a great staff, but he wins with the exceptional talent he has been given in the town of SP. Pretty safe to say that just about any coach could win with that talent. Just a few years ago many SP fans were calling for his head because they weren't making it out of the 2nd RD of the playoffs. It is easy to win when you have a stable full of talent.

Tony Lambert gets my vote. I was impressed with how well coached and disciplined Oneida was when I saw them play Greenback 3 weeks ago. Vic Grider is good but I remember something Danny Wilson said when he took the Heritage job a long time ago. He said he left a gold mine in South Pitt. Wilson now coaches at Cleveland. I bet Wilson wishes he was still at South Pitt.

Lambert. not just for what he does in the win/loss department and he's definitely good at that, maybe the best defensive mind in East TN at any level. but also because i wouldn't for a second hesitate to entrust my son with him and his staff to help him become a good character young man. PCC isn't just his motto, it's reflected in all the players he has on the field.

I'd say Maryville is a gold mine as well partner.Think Quarles is leaving anytime soon?

whoa, whoa, whoa!!!!! vic grider's been at south pitt for 200 years and is doing nothing more than what's expected of him. my man creasy at trousdale on the other hand, took the reigns of a established powerhouse, had to replace one of the all time top coaches in the state, and has made them even better!!! vic grider is a GREAT coach, but this year he play's second fiddle to the 1st year region four phenom head jacket kevin creasy. show ya love! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Coach Kevin Creasy should at least, be Coach of the Year. What he has done with this bunch

is awesome.

    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
    • I think this goes on a lot more than most people know, maybe not finishing an entire geometry class in 90 minutes. This situation seems special.
    • Clint and Blake sitting at home right now after Sunday service having a family discussion.   Pork Chops and Greens on the menu, and maybe some cookies and milk for a snack later.   Clint probably told him he sucked and ruined the legacy, and would be right.   The next HC sits in MJ, but wears blue, JMO.
