orangeblur
Here is my predictions.. Week 0 @Walker Valley W Week 1 @Jefferson County W Week 2 @William Blount W Week 3 Rhea County Do not know enough about Rhea Co. to predict Week 4 Lenoir City W Week 5 Bye Week 6 @Maryville L But close in a nail bitter..If Bearden wins, I will not be surpized. Week 7 Farragut L Week 8 Heritage W Week 9 @West W Week 10 @Catholic W Game 1 Win Game 2 Win Game 3 Win Game 4 Win Game 5 Win Game 6 Lose Game 7 Win Game 8 Win Game 9 Win Game 10 Lose they only lose at Maryville and at Catholic.....there could even be a 3 way tie...still I could see Bearden beating both Maryville and Catholic and lose to Farragut.......they dont lose more than 2 regardless... nakedhogan
I know catholic and Maryville are moving up but can u name the last season both teams lost 2 regular season games and i think a new classification only helps catholic (probably maryville too) as there Off. is tough to read and experience against it seems to be the best way to stop it(every catholic loss except fulton 06'was a team they beat in regular season)since 03'I would assume Maryville is the same way. Farragut and Bearden are in for a wake up call. looking and the numbers farragut has more freshman girls than catholic does students in 05'(latest numbers i could find)
QSouth89
Bearden was young this season and i expect big things from them in 09'. I hope we keep our scrimmage from the last 3 years. It is good for us to face a program the caliber of Bearden before going into the season. People forget how young Catholic was last year ( they played a lot of sophomores) and they return Zack Tait. nakedhogan
how do u know that? and really who cares how young a team was i don't think it matters i think it will come down to coaching and thats in maryville and catholics favor imo
coach1076
Now I am not going to argue that Catholic & Maryville have great staffs because they do, their records speak for themselves. But, Bearden has a great staff as well. Look at what they did with such a young squad last year. As for who has the advantage coaching wise Im not going to get into that. All 3 of these schools have really good staffs, but to sit here & say that those 2 are better than the Bearden staff is Bogus. Coach Taylor is 20-5 as a head coach with a region championship & his staff is top notch. Quarles & Pemberton are 2 of the best in the state, but they also have some good recruiting coordinators as well.

I hope that is not the excuse after bearden plays maryville and catholic b/c i think i can speak for maryville it gets old. good players want to play for good programs, thats the only recruiter they have.i was there when catholic was 3-8 and i was there when they were 12-1 the diff. was coaching not recruiting. good luck not to good see ya next fall
