TACA - Toyota East vs West All-Star Classic

There is a Autozone-Liberty Bowl game but it is for Memphis players only. I would prefer it to be a West TN all-star game so I could go watch some local players. However, players from Henry Co., Milan, Camden, McKenzie etc. have to go to Johnson City & play in the TACA - Toyota East vs West All-Star Classic. I'm not knocking the game itself just the location. I think it would be fair to play it in the middle of the state or alternate between East TN & West TN each year.

 

Its seems to be about sponsorship when it comes to these events.

Here's my prediction for the game

 

East - 35

West -20

Its Jefferson City were they play not Johnson City....There is about a hour and a half difference. I understand what your saying about the location tho. Toyota is big in East TN like posted before so thats why they play it in East TN

Here is a link from the Greeneville paper were the West team is practicing if that will help any. The guy running the ball in the picture looks pretty huge. West team WON 10 - 7...Jacob Fussell from Mckenzie played an awesome game at linebacker...It's great to see a good kid from a small school play with the Big boys and do such a good job...way to represent from the west and come away with a WIN!
