News from District 9-A

If that is all they have to do then make it a clean sweep for 9A.

 

 

Not so fast, Cascade has to get by HC. They are playing the best bball they have played all year. They aren't gonna give it to Cascade. They have quick guards, 5 big men, all who can play ball, and 3 point shooters off the bench. Should be a good game.

Expect it to be a great game. Cascade should be ready to play after a disappointing week in the district tournament. HC is much better with the injured players back.

I think houston co. wins by 10 plus... Cascade looked like a true 4th place team in the tournament. I think they have packed it in for the season. I hope they prove me wrong

What style of ball does HC play on offense? What is their main defense? Zone or man.

They can play any style,they scored 96 against Big Sandy this year or go big and pound it inside like they did against WHH in which they scored 46.They play a matchup zone primarily and trap out of it,they can go big or small depending on what is needed.They have 5 guys in the rotation that are 6'3 or taller.How about Cascade on offense/defense and how big are they.

Cascade is small and quick. Just the opposite of HC.

I see Cascade has a boy who's in the 1000 club, he must be a heck of a shooter. I ( sigh ) reckon hes quick as lightning too? lol Our pg is pretty quick himself. Good luck to both teams, I am looking forward to the games. 2 contrasting styles, should make for a great game. I am proud of our boys for the way they played down the stretch, just hope it holds up.

It is hard to beat Coach Petrone and Heritage three times in a row,CA will be on a mission,HC is a tough place to play and sounds like they will kill Cascade with offensive rebounds-difference in the game -BOOK IT.NCS has next to no chance,but they shoot alot of threes and theydo have the legend Charlie Anderson.

No Community will not beat White House Heritage for the 3rd time in one yr.....Much improved and just a hair away from winning the 10 A championship.They will be ready to play and it is a home game. WHHeritage did beat Cornersville this yr a team that defeated Community no other real comparisons during the season. WHH in a close victory.

 

Forrest Will have its Hands full of a very good Clarksville Academy team that not only has a inside game but a very effective outside game they are not to be overlooked and are a darkhorse to win the Region. imo. CA is the winner.

 

N C S i s o u t . sorry better luck next yr. No seniors on this young ncs team but they will we a force next yr.

 

Now for the tough one......Houston Co and Cascade THis seems to be a clash of styles and I really dont know much about Cascade other than they are quick and have good shooters . I am sure that they have played some teams that have tall players but if they cant stop the inside/outside game HC could pull this game out big time and win by as much as 20. Time will tell. I would love to see this one.
