This Kid Kelli Cowan very under rated I seen this kid play AAU and know high school basketball she is small for a post player but plays bigger than her size she has the best drop step move in the city this kid plays night in and night out they talk about the best post player in 9AA she is the best for her size. East Lit coaches should be talking about this kid she has a double double just about every game

This was a great win for East Lit. It was actually the first time that our girls have beaten Hume Fogg. When we started getting some better players but moved down to Single A Hume Fogg's girls would not play us. Now all of the games are competitive. It actually makes it a rivallry.

Ezell called off the games versus Lipscomb on Friday Night and refused to play on Saturday Night as well! Seems pretty ratty to me. Guess Ezell needs some more practice.

 

Big time wins for Hume Fogg and for FRA. Hume Fogg will finish in the top half of the regular season, and FRA always finds ways to play tough and pull several upsets throughout every season.

 

Question to watch for the next several games: Will East be like the Jacksonville Jaguars and be the biggest disappointment in the district?

 

 

Way to bounce back East Lit with a huge victory at Hume Fogg. As CoachF stated, this is the first time that the Lady Eagles have defeated Hume Fogg. Brabson and Cowan (alphabetical order) carried the team on their backs down the stretch.

EL plays DCA on Friday and Cheatham County on Saturday

David Lipscomb won the Overton Invitational tournament last night with a 49-40 win over Overton. DL gets a rematch with Hillsboro on Saturday. They had a 39-30 loss to the Lady Burros early in the season.

 

It looks like 9AA represented well in the Christmas tournaments. Good luck to all in the regular season.
