96 to 86...souds like Oak Hill got some home cooking!!!!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

This game might be replayed on Wazoo sports......I'm going to check later and tomorrow.....I want to see it.

The officiating looked to be very good while watching it at home.

Speaking of which, why were people wanting score updates when the game was broadcast live on wazoosports.com??? They did a great job with the game and you get to drink a beer while watching. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Tiny was huge.

Very good game. I think Bearden played about as well as they could. I was really disappointed in the way

Oak Hill played. I thought they would be much more fundamentally sound. I thought they played poor defense, ran no offense, and never thought of boxing out. They are basically athletic enough to beat you one on one in isolation. Mo Mo Jones was a tough matchup for the Dawgs. Jenkins couldn't really stay with him and he just physically outmatched the smaller Bearden guards. I thought Dustin Craig had a fantastic game and Parker stepped up. I think that Oak Hill could have really taken advantage of of mismatches especially when "Tiny" had Simpson pulled out of the paint to guard against the 3s. Bearden did a very good of maintaing their cool in a very physical and mouthy situation.

Not that it really matters, but I was extremely disappointed in the behavior of the Oak Hill players. Coach Smith never said a word to the players and they were dropping the "F" bomb about every other word. These are high school kids! I was sitting right behind the bench and was very shocked to hear this out of them and the coaches wives were sitting right there too. I anticipated much more class.

What makes you think this? You know Oak Hill is ranked number #1 in the nation and for a TN team to hang with them is a little crazy to say...

Also, Bearden will lose games on the 23rd and 27th... So you Bulldogs fans better get ready for that

Another thing will the Oak HIll girls be playing the Bearden girls? IF not, what time will this game start?

I guess I was wrong.

Are you kidding me?

Yes, there are high school students so they probably cuss more than any other age group in america.

C'mon its not like these dudes are 11 or 12 yrs old(some start cussing even before that age) they are 16-18 yrs old.

I would be more surprised if they DIDNT cuss.

Having coached this age for over 20 years, I'm well aware of their language. At most times, they are certainly more restrained around their coaches and especially the coaches' wives. But to constantly be yelling F you and F this was way out of line. I've attended probably 1000 games around this area and yes you will hear an occassional cuss word. But, I promise you having watched Bearden, Fulton, AE, et al for years, the coaches would not have tolerated the language the Oak Hill players were spewing!

Well I agree with the other poster.. I mean, you can't just single out Oak Hill's team.. I'm sure Bearden were using some words that wasn't supposed to be said. I mean, when Fair caught that elbow to the jaw, I know he got up and said some words for that cat as well. But hey, who knows....

I can't agree more, IrishBBall. I was disappointed with the display of classlessness by Oak Hill. They are a tremendous group of athletes, but I could not believe the lack of discipline the Oak Hill players displayed. A few years ago, I attended a Mater Dei game in LA (the number one ranked team thie year) and saw a team that was fundementally sound, stacked with great athletes (Duke, NC type of players), ran a great system, respected the opponent they beat by over 30 points, and behaved with real class. This is what I was expecting to see last night. Frankly, I would never pay to see this team again.

BTW, Simpson had a great game as well as Craig. Demonte and Dustin both had a lot to deal with inside against the giant inside, and they did a very good job.

Speaking of "classlessness", what about the UT players that stood along the rail in the upper deck blocking the view of people who had waited in their seats for three hours before gametime. I was really disappointed that they obviously thought that they were so special that they did not owe the fans this common courtesy.

Let me start by saying this isn't some prissy catholic school you're talking about. This is Oak Hill Academy. Most of those kids are there because they need to overcome some stuff in order to reach the next level. Some of those things that I am referring to include academic struggles and extremely difficult living environment. Who cares how much these kids cuss? Understanding where some of them come from I think if all they do is cuss they are doing well. It never ceases to amaze me how some people who live a predominantly care free existance point the finger at every little thing someone else does and chastise them for it. By the way, how did you like the final score of the Catholic game Friday night?

Exactly.

I mean you put it perfectly. If you knew the neighborhoods these guy were coming from if all they do is cuss then they are doing GREAT. SOOOO many other bad things they could possibly could be doing if it wasnt for Oak Hill.

Keep making excuses for these kids. That's just what they need. One more person making excuses for them.

    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
