Dale
1-Ooltewah (can't wait 'til they play Soddy) 2-Soddy-(like Ooltewah, very big team, need to stay healthy) 3-Tyner-speed kills 4-Cleveland-have a great RB in Barber 5-Hixson-many returning players, should be a force to be reckoned with 6-McCallie-yes, they won state last year, but they lost many key players, should still be good though. 7-Bradley-have a great coach in Price, he won't stand for another 3 win season 8-Boyd-yes, they're a great 1A team, but personally I don't think they could hang with the teams listed above. 9-Notre Dame-great new coach, great skill players, lack depth. 10-Rhea County-good team, great athlete in Garmany, team needs some fine-tuning though. mrsoddydaisy
Dale, I like your list, But if you were here we might swap 1 and 2. What do you think? BTW, you better add Baylor in there. They looked great last friday. Trojan Pride!
Dale
Hey mrsoddydaisy, you're right, I might have 1 and 2 swapped if I was there. I think Ooltewah and Soddy are right there w/each other, we'll know more about y'all when you play RB on Thursday (heard you did well against Tyner) and Ooltewah later in the season, that should be a great one. I haven't seen Baylor play yet this year, just remember they weren't all that great last year, but we'll see. Tell Trey I said good luck and to not get discouraged. Good luck to y'all on your season! Dice1550
Tyner will beat McCallie.
BigLu43
Dice1550: Don't be so sure that Tyner will beat McCallie. I think it will be a close game, but McCallie will come out on top in the end because Tyner will not have the stamina to beat them. They never do. They might be winning in the first half, but they will not be winning at the end of the game.
swamp
If this a true Chatt area top 10, shouldn't it include teams from North Ga and North Al? Makes as much sense as Sequatchie or Tellico does.

I didn't even hear of any scrimmages though there may have been some. You have games such as Rhea-Boyd-Buchanan, Sequatchie-East Ridge, McCallie-Notre Dame, Ooltewah-Red Bank to compare the different regions in SE TN. wrestler87
Swamp, Sure I would have to agree. Which teams do you think would be in the rankings along with the teams already listed? Sequatchie
Posted by swamp:If this a true Chatt area top 10, shouldn't it include teams from North Ga and North Al? Makes as much sense as Sequatchie or Tellico does. Swamp & wrestler87, Why would you put Georgia teams on a poll for Tennessee HS Football? If you would look at a list of the Regions you would see the reason why Sequatchie Co., South Pittsburg, Grundy Co. & Tellico, etc.... is on a Chattanooga poll is because they are in the Chattanooga Region area. Sequatchie Co. borders Hamilton Co.(Chattanooga) if you look at a map! Tyner is in Sequatchie's Region as well as Polk Co. & Tellico! Grundy Co. is in a Region with Walker Valley(Cleveland), Howard, McMinn Central & Sequoyah! South Pittsburg & Whitwell is in a Region with Boyd-Buchanan & Lookout Valley from Chattanooga and Copper Basin in Polk Co.! Dale
Nice post Sequatchie, I agree 100%-why put Ga teams in a poll for Tn teams?
Dice1550
I'm by no means positive that Tyner is going to beat McCallie, however if I had to bet money it would be on Tyner. I think they will win the game. My prediction is Tyner by 10, but I've been wrong Lord only knows how many times so this could just be one more to add to the list. Dice1550
Told you so. Tyner wins, so much for not being there at there at the end.
