After spring practice is over nothing can be done with a ball until after the july dead period. Players can get together and work on things with a ball but no coach can be present.

Twice last week there was no practice. I know the weather has been a factor, but they had been practicing in the gym. Whats up for this week? Is there only four more days of spring practice allowed?

Hope so..but it is odd to me that as other schools are hitting it hard during this spring session, only 3 days practice last week and little if any news coming out.

Numbers are a little down but the kids that participated this spring improved and worked hard to learn a new defensive system. Replacing 3 all-state offensive skill players is a challenge and an opportunity for some younger kids to shine. Depth could be a concern but if many of the current kids get their grades in order, 2009 season could be a positive one.
