WCHSbowling
Sorry for the delay...but here are the results from District 10 finals today: Wilson Central and Mount Juliet played both finals today for boys AND girls, and Wilson Central's teams win both matches for District 10 titles! On the boys side, WC d. MJ 19.5 - 7.5, with pinfall totals WC 3875 & MJ 3585. A very strong, strike-filled game 1 saw WC win 3.5 of the 6 ind. points, and take the total 1396 - 1325!! The 1396 is a WC school-record score for boys! WC followed in game 2 with a nice 1295, and with the match pretty well in hand, finished with a 1184 game 3. The LadyCats also won big in school-record fashion, defeating MJ 23 - 4 with an awesome 3431 series!! Great bowling, and congrats to both of these schools for moving on to the Regions next week! Now all of you can "fill in the blanks" on your District results sheet! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Mjl4soddy
The tournaments are beginning, and we want to know how your team is doing!! Post your outcomes and final scores with pinfall, high scores, etc here! Our district begins the district tournament tomorrow at Holiday Bowl Hixson! We'll let y'all know how we did, but we've gotta hear back from you too! Good luck to all teams!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Soddy Daisy won their region. They averaged about a 1300 with their starters in, not sure what the stats where, Im sure sequatchiebowler will deliver them later on haha. Anyways, Scott Dimirjian certainly showed up to to bowl as he shot many games over 250 and finished with a 742 series the last match. Matt (me) bowled around average and so did the others. Anyways, Scott Dimirjian certainly showed up to to bowl as he shot many games over 250 and finished with a 742 series the last match. Matt (me) bowled around average and so did the others. Yes, Soddy boys were the Region 3 Champs, while Bradley Central was the runner up. The pinfall in the first match was Soddy [(3649) (21)] winning against a very good Walker Valley team [(3305) (6)]. Walker Valley has 4 very good, disciplined bowlers and 2 or 3 others who will be very good with practice. They just got a little unlucky, and we happened to carry some much needed strikes. Kudos to Walker Valley, and good luck next year guys. Highlights for this match for Walker Valley were Matt Wagner with 216, Shelby Rummel with 234 and 235 back-to-back, and there were a few other good 200+ games also. Soddy's highlights were Matt Lyon with 247, 201, 242 (690), Scott Demirjian with 246, 218, 208 (672), Joseph Leffew with a 244 game, Allyn Pickett with a 612 series and 235 game, and Kaleb Langston with 215. Our game scores were 1263, 1099, and 1287. Soddy was winning 6-2 after game 1, 10-6 after game 2, and won total by 344 pins. The pinfall in the second match was Soddy [(3706) (18)] winning against a talented and well-composed Bradley Central team [(3515) (9)]. Bradley Central had very good sportsmanship too, being that they were undefeated 13-0 and lost for the first time this season shaking our hands and congratulating us all the way. The highlights for Bradley Central were Robby Williams with 234, 233, 213 (680), Isaac Joy with 225, Chuck Torbett with 208 and 223, Adam Bender with 212 and 223, Coty Rymer with 202, and Cody Ledford with 210. Soddy's highlights came from Cody Hunter with a 215 and a 180, Allyn Pickett with 218, 247, 194 (659) Kaleb Langston with a 222, Matt Lyon with 205, 257, 200 (662), Scott Demirjian with 279, 228, 235 (742), and Wesley Williams with 194 his first game. We had 2620 at the turn, and if we'd left all our starters in instead of just 4 of them, we'd have probably shot about 3870 (just an edumacated guess). Our game scores were 1331, 1289, and 1086. Soddy was winning 7-1 after game 1, 13-3 after game 2, and won total pins 189. Good luck to all teams in the tournaments, and let us know how you did too! /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
