Does anyone else play the Boys first at 6pm?

I was suprised to find a Girls game on the Radio Tuesday night around 9pm. It was Santa Fe vs Richland. Further investigation found that Richland High School has decided to play their Boys games first this year at 6pm and the girls second. Seems a little odd! Also, while listening to the game, could not help but notice that Richland's coach got (2) technicial fouls called on him at the end of the game for trying to call timeouts that he didn't have.

Only in Richland do they play the boys games first. Something about some of the parents last year felt the girls weren't getting enough exposure, and they pushed their case and what was decided was only for Richland home games, the boys would play first then the girls.

As for Richland's coach, he's always been a whiner. From his assistant job at Lewis Co. to his youth league coaching days in Ethridge.

Think that boys playing first is a good idea.

 

You could alternate from Year to Year.
