The Lady Cyclones are still unbeaten in Seven play. Happy Valley came close, but couldn't

close the deal. A chance to avenge the loss in Afton, Friday. Schedule looks favorable.

 

The Lady Blue Devils have won three of their last six; however the losses were at Cloudland,

Elizabethton, and then, Friday night's overtime loss to South Greene. Still a very young team,

huge upside. Very promising game with Happy Valley, in Erwin this Friday.

 

Cloudland bounced back from the overtime loss in Baileyton to destroy Unaka in Roan Mountain.

Potential trap game in Johnson City, Tuesday, before fighting for second-in-conference at Hampton,

Happy Valley lost a tough one Friday night. The Lady Warriors now have two bitter losses this season

on Warrior Hill. Friday it was the Lady Cyclones, and previously the Lady Blue Devils held on. This

team could still play a key, spoilers' role, beginning with this Friday's game in Erwin.

 

Hampton's game at North Greene was disappointing, however, the Lady Bulldogs are still hurting, with

players either sitting out, or playing injured. The Lady Warriors host Hampton, Tuesday, then all bets are

off when the Lady Highlanders come down from the Mountain, Friday night.

 

Unaka won at home against University High. Still a long way back toward the top, but enough talent to be

very competitive. Two very tough games this week, beginning at home Monday, against the Lady Blue Devils,

and it's off to Baileyton this Friday night.

 

Johnson County lost by seventeen at South Greene, Friday. The Lady Longhorns could spring this season's

most significant upset, Tuesday, in Mountain City against the Lady Knights. Friday night is also a home game

with West Greene.

They beat HV at less than full strength last time and the Dawgs have won 8 of their last 10. But this one's at HV and the Warriors will prolly come ready to play after their showing at Hampton...

Rankings look good this week. Not sure if Hampton will get healthy this year, such a shame. If this Hampton team was at 100 percent they had and awful good shot at going down the road.
