baseballfan247
If I remember correctly Loretto beat them bad both games? Not sure. The difference this year is Coaching, I am not sure who even follows East in baseball, but last year was the inaugeral year for the School, unfortunatly the team ended up thier first year with a Coach who was very immature and really had no idea what he was doing. Outside of poor baseball knowledge, he was "buddies" with some of the older players who pretty much dictated how the team was ran and had seven or eight girls he kept around him as "diamond girls" which had a few incidents that were not of the professional nature, that were looked into, with all the drama this guy brought by his actions led to him being dismissed from the School system all together. That is water under the bridge and forgotten. Since then a new Coach has been hired and he has made the world of difference in these kids, extensive baseball knowledge, professional " no nonsense" character, and a sincere desire to build a solid team has made the difference. It has been like night and day since yast year, the kids will be shown the proper way to play the game, and pushed to do so. It may take a few years, but the trenches are being dug to develop this program the right way. Win or lose, we are happy as a community to have such a great Coach to lead our kids. Well I heard that the guy was real young and was kind of lost. Not sure why the AD and or board would have hired him. He should land on his feet somewhere. he might need to be an assistant for a while and gain that maturity. He did seem rather passionate about it. But I am just an outsider. I do hope the best for your young school and do hope that the community gives this new guy a chance. Good Luck to you EHHS.

GMAN16
Isnt he their #4 pitcher? Not sure what number pitcher he is. But the scoreboard doesnt reflect the game at all.. Page scored 10 runs in the top of the seventh. HC's starting pitcher pitched a great game and didn't give up more than 5 earned runs in 5 innings. The problem was the deffence behind him making errors on plays that should be made.

Maybe that is true but Hickman still only scored one run against their #4 pitcher. Was he that good or can Hickman just not hit?
centervilleballer1
Maybe that is true but Hickman still only scored one run against their #4 pitcher. Was he that good or can Hickman just not hit? We just cant hit. Plain and simple, all our errors we made we will just have to keep working and hopefully we can turn things around. Spurrierfan
Looks like no games today! Who plays tomorrow? I know Page has a game vs. McGavock. They might move it though.
