66in74
The more I think about it the more I know how the "ton of talent" at SH has came together! Vol5198 said it best... this SH team is on a mission! Looks like Page over looked Loretto! You are right about the "ton of talent" at SH! They have some guys who haven't had to wash their uniforms yet or clean their cleats who could start for many teams in the district.............but their sunflower seeds chewing has improved greatly. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
cullypride
Spring Hill is hands down a better team than Lewis,no argument there, but Lewis is capable of beating anybody thier pitching is pretty good and if they catch a team on a bad day ( especially at home) they can pull a upset. As far as Page being better than Spring Hill I have seen both teams play several times this year and that is the honest opinion I have formed. Skill level, I think Spring Hill has the better bats, and Page has better Pitching, but where Page comes over Spring Hill is player attitudes, several poor attitudes.....not all ( there are some very nice, respectful young men on the squad) but some. You have one severe "head case" on that team that will bring the whole team down. The kid is from what I see is a awesome player all around, would be a excellent college prospect, but not in his mindframe( im sure you know who is is) . Page appears to be focused and playing as a team, Spring Hill has the talent, but its all about me.me.me. as the season winds down and get into state tournaments this behavior will show more than ever. I have a pretty good idea of the "head case" you are talking about and not only have I played against him,but I have played with him and I can honestly say that he has grown up alot from where he was a couple years ago. I'm sure Lamb has been on him pretty hard about his attitude and it seems to be really helping. As far as the team chemistry goes...I just can't see where you are coming from. The SH team is closer than any team I have seen in a long time. Not to mention they have more to play for than any team in the state of Tennessee and when it comes down to it that alone could be the difference maker. I look for them to make a run to state where they have the talent and pitching to win it all. I hope they bring a State Championship home to Maury Co! R.I.P. GengisKahn
THIS is an example of what is wrong with coacht.com and sites like it... What the heck does it matter to you about something with another school which may or may not be true? Even if half of what you're saying is correct (which I don't know if it is or not, but have reason to doubt MOST of what you're saying)how does what you're doing help it? If you think that Spring Hill has any chemistry issues, especially after what happened to them last September, then it looks like your reaching for things. It appears all you're doing is defending and making excuses for what appears to be "your team" while in the process trying to creat issues on another when you don't know if what you're blabbing is correct. All this AFTER what appears to be "your team" got beat badly last week. So how about taking your agenda/sour attitude back to Williamson County?.. I don't know how far Spring Hill will go this year, but it appears the team is on a mission. If you dont like others opinions dont read coach t messages. GengisKahn
Looks like Spring Hill will be on top this year. I stand corrected. I guess the games I saw were just a few bad games. I hope the best for Spring Hill. They should represent dist. 10 AA as best as possible.

SH 11-1 Page 9-3 MC 9-3 GC 6-6 Loretto 5-7 LC 3-9 HC 3-9 East Hickman 2-10 Final series games next week... 66in74
How does the District tournament work? Do all teams play?
Willie
How does the District tournament work? Do all teams play? All teams play. If the season ended today this is what I have... # 1 Seed Site @ SH # 1 SH vs # 8 EH # 4 GC vs # 5 Loretto # 2 Seed Site @ Page # 2 Page vs # 7 HC/LC # 3 MC vs # 6 HC/LC Winner of each site plays for Championship at higher seed. Location is either at SH or Page. So for example if it was Loretto vs HC then they would play at SH instead of Loretto I believe. Each site is double elimination. Championship game is winner take all. This is how it was done last year and I pretty sure it stayed the same for this year.

GengisKahn
Predictions for final series games this week... SH vs MC - SH sweeps GC vs EH - GC sweeps Page vs LC - Page sweeps Loretto vs HC - split I will go with the sweep over Marshall,Marshall is a good team but just dont match up with Spring Hill's pitching and bats. Giles and East Hickman split, I feel East Hickman is on the upswing, but errors take them out of every game, Page and Lewis split, I still think Lewis will be a sleeper this coming tournament. Loretto sweeps Hickman, Loretto has a good base of players that are getting stronger as the regular season winds down. They are always a tough team. StealthBuster
Congrats to Spring Hill (district 10AA champs) in a dominating 10-0 win against Marshall Co. tonight. If SH stays hot, they are going to be force to be dealt with come post season time. They play all facets of the game very well.
