They are very deep at postion players and don't count out their pitching just yet, they will get better as the year goes on.

Pleasant? Collinwood lost Jordon Martin she was haft of the team. Martin will certainly be missed but Collinwood will still be tough! Lots of experience on this team. tnfisher
Doesn't Collinwood have a pitcher coming back who missed most of last year with an injury?
sb10
Doesn't Collinwood have a pitcher coming back who missed most of last year with an injury? Not sure about most of season but did miss latter part and postseason play. Pitcher and hitter!!!
thelma
Collinwood only lost Jordan Martin. They have a lot of experience returning as most of the girls have started since their freshman year. They lost a couple of players last year due to injury. Second baseman Ashley Victory broke her ankle and missed the 2nd half of the season, but she is back and healthy. Pitcher Lacee Ray is healthy after having an injury late in the year also. These 2 seniors will be joined by at least 6 other seniors and some very talented juniors and sophs. I'm not sure what the freshman class brings, but we will find out soon. Carly Dicus will be solid on pitching also. If this team stays healthy, they could make a run at the state. Good luck to these girls and all the other teams. vic
Collinwood also lost Ashley Carter to graduation. These 2 players are a big loss, but there are girls ready to step up and fill these positions. Plenty of senior leadership and some talented juniors should make for a very good season. Summertown is still the team to beat. They are the defending district champs, but I like Collinwood's chances this year. Perry Co. should be a better team this year also. Looks like Collinwood will be the team to beat this year in 12A. Good luck to everyone in 12A. May everyone stay healthy, display good sportsmanship, enjoy the game as it is supposed to be, & have a good season.
