Central rolls at home by 15-20 in this one to improve to 21-0 /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />

Should be a good game. If I'm not mistaken, the last 2 games between these 2 have been decided by 5pts at Central and 4pts at Polk. Central is tough to beat @ home.

Give me some opinions!!!!!!!!!!!!!But the fact is Central will roll right over Polk County in this match up! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

New Post player Jena Adams has become a difference maker for Central. When you can go 10 deep with no let off in production, that is what makes Central so tough. Kylie plays big in big games, Madison is just now getting up to game speed, and like I said, the missing link, IMO, has been a dominant post player. Central is loaded with perimeter players and now has the inside presense which will cause Polk a match up problem.

central by 10+

I expect a tough game, but there are a couple of players contributing now that weren't when they played at Polk. Jenna hadn't gotten comfortable yet, and she didn't understand her role. Madison Lee was out with injury. The last couple of practices have been good, and we had a spirited workout today in the weightroom. I think we're over the midseason slump (it happens every year), and we're preparing for the homestretch.

This team is more talented than last year's because of the addition of Adams and the increased production of Laura Purkey (two things we didn't have last year). With that said, anything can happen in region, substate, and state. I hope they can go all the way this year. This really is a great group of girls who work their butts off.

Is she new to the team or just new as far as getting significant playing time. Both these teams will be hard to knock off in the region.

Jena Adams played late in the year last year but was still learning how to play. She has finally grasped the system and has worked very hard on her skills and has become a force inside at 6'1" and a pretty big wing span. She is bringing about 15 points and 10 to 12 rebounds off the bench! Thats why I said in an earlier post that Central can go 10 players deep this year with virtually no drop off in production and playing at their up tempo pace, they just pound a team in the ground. A lot of teams thought they could double up on Kylie this year and slow them down but that has not worked. As Maniac said earlier, anything can happen in tournament time but I think this is the most complete team Central has ever had with the post and perimeter players they have this year.

I think Central wins this one by 10-12 points. The question is can they beat Polk 4 times. If it plays out the way it should, in the district and region, they could possibly play each other 4 times. It's hard to beat a team as good as Polk 4 times in one season. I hope they both go to state.

I believe that Central has too much depth. It should be a good game, though. Anything can happen. That's why the games are played.

Yea, should have been much more. This was by far the worst called game this year. Reminded me of the final four game at the state last year.

Why in the world does District 5 always have the worst refs? Their biggest problem is they look at the score board and if it is a lop sided

game, they call for the losing team! I do respect Coach Davis, he always comes with a good game plan but now that Central is out of their

mid season slump, they have just too many weapons. With the Adams girl doing what she is capable of now, that takes alot of the

double and triple teaming off of Lambert and all the other girls can hurt you at any given moment. 12 DEEP !
