DirtBag
Newsflash for those who think Father Ryan is one of the top teams in Mid. Tn. They have a LONG way to go before they reach the caliber of the top teams in Mid. Tn. Just saw them scrimmage against Ravenwood and while Ravenwood looked good, Father Ryan didn't show much. At all. greenergrass
Typically, when you discuss the better teams in the Mid-State, history has proven the following: Overton High School-A rich tradition of pitching and baseball talent. Battleground Academy-Coach Brad Myers may be the best "Game" Day coach in the Mid-State Brentwood Academy-Coach Alexander has 2 titles to prove my point Franklin High School-Always a contender Centennial High School-Always a sleeper. Has a great Junior class headed by Tony Kemp and a few tranfers and younger players may develop for their staff. I believe Ernie Smith has 6 State Championship titles at Lipscomb with 7 starters returning from a State Runner - Up team.

Father Ryan did fine with Freshman pitching half of the innings...It was a scrimmage......Why were we being told Ravenwood beat BA in a scrimmage 18 to 1 was that true? middletownbaseball1
who is the best team in middle tennessee? i think its father ryan high school every body is already counting them out but i think there going to be better then you think and they are very well coached but who do you think it is good joke. bga is way better than father ryan. our lefty we got from florida was going to go to father ryan but thought bga was better so he came here instead. coach myers is also a better coach than father ryan's coach. opponent
Father Ryan did fine with Freshman pitching half of the innings...It was a scrimmage......Why were we being told Ravenwood beat BA in a scrimmage 18 to 1 was that true? Ravenwood got more runs early in the game off of Father Ryan's better pitchers then they did off the freshman and sophmores that came in. Ravenwood also pitched freshman and sophmores the same time as Father Ryan did. Also, Ravenwood beat BA 13-1 not 18-1.
Thesolution
Lipscomb spanked father ryan on thursday... The mustangs gave up only 1 hit in the 5th which was a homerun Final score 11-
DirtBag
Father Ryan did fine with Freshman pitching half of the innings...It was a scrimmage......Why were we being told Ravenwood beat BA in a scrimmage 18 to 1 was that true? It was a one sided scrimmage until both teams pulled there starters...the one freshman who pitched vs. Ravenwood's varsity was better than the other pitchers for FR. But pitching is only one part of the game. Where was Father Ryan's defense and offense for that scrimmage? It seemed nonexistent to me...
