banjo
Looks like Coalfield & Wartburg will be working hard. Those appear to be some pretty stiff competition for scrimmages. What about the other Sunbright & Oakdale? I heard the Oakdale coach might be leaving. Are they going to even have a spring practice? Is either team going to scrimmage anyone? blue_white_01
Wartburg starts spring practice this week. I'm looking forward to see these boys get to work and show their progress in the scrimmage.

TigerDog
I'm a Sunbright alum living in Wartburg. I will always love the Tigers, but I also like the Dogs. I believe Wartburg will be the county champs, getting to move down and play teams more their speed. The competition they have played the past few years will help them. Sunbright is still young. One more year and they will be pretty good. Coalfield lost what little talent they had last year. If the young talent comes together like they usually do they will be tough. Oakdale can't do nothing but get better. Best of luck to all the County teams.
CoalfieldLB52
This year will be interesting in Morgan County.I think Coalfield and Wartburg end up playing for the County Championship. But i don't know. We'll find out how good everyone is at Spring practice.

coach1076
umm actually is was oliver springs For you bass & OZfootball the last AA team to beat Alcoa was just as Tiger24 said...David Lipscomb. It was 2003 or 2004 if I am not mistaken. DL won 55-6 in the state semifinals. The week after Alcoa whipped OZ 37-13 in the Quarterfinals, Now Oz did beat Alcoa in Sep. of that year 17-14, but as you can see Alcoa avenged that loss in the play-offs. Side note Alcoa started the season 1-3 & i believe they had a bunch of players suspended during that stretch when OZ beat them. Either way if you don't believe that David Lipscomb was the last2a team to beat Alcoa look at past schedules right here on CoachT. Thank you for your time! ozfootball
Your right oz did win in season but lost to them in play offs... But still as the years go by you see kids not as big as in the past years at Oliver Springs... Dont get me wrong we have some big kids but not as many as in the past... And for Rockwood im pretty pumped about playing them in the jambre( pretty pumped).
