Blocking below the waist is a penalty. That might be the reason he didn't take out his legs !!!!

Yes i know it is a penalty to do that but hood had the ball thrown to him on that screen pass and ran for the touchdown.. it is not a penalty to tackle below the waist. colman was on defense.

WOW!! if this is true why in the world would you turn down 2 D1 schools AIRFORCE or LOUISVILLE to go play at Carson Newman or Tusculum.. Ill tell you why because its not true.. i've heard him talk about it but never seen anything.. yeah he is good but not D1 good.. yeah im a Mav fan. Yes kerr would not throw it to him but why would he throw it to him when they have #6 josh wilson and #10 J.B. Young.. in my opinion coleman was not the best player on the team. as a fullback he could not block to save his life.

And if he would have taken Daniel Hoods legs out on that screen pass instead of going head up and getting stiffed arm and KNOCKED DOWN then we would have won that ball game and we would have won state..

And what exactly did you contribute to winning that game young man? Let's see... Coleman was Tri-County Linebacker of the Year (Anderson, Roane and Knox), All-Region, All-State, MVP-Defensive Player Border Bowl. The kid was doing something right.....maybe some good blocking, too! Not to mention the fact, he's just a good guy. Great attitude. Air Force offered. Louisville offered. Tusculum offered. His reasons for signing with whatever school are his own. Anderson County will certainly miss Coleman. A player of his caliber is not easily replaced. Someone on that team will have to step up. Maybe you, perhaps? /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

You apparently don't or didn't talk to or watch Rogers and Blakely.....(goofing off on the sidelines? Probably why you didn't start.)

Coleman is soft. There is no way he had offers from those schools and turned them down. I think i would have thrown to wilson and young all day Coleman is not a football player. He may have some honors but many others have them and should not have recived them.

Sour grapes cause you didn't get yours? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

My bad .........in the other part of your post you said that Coleman was the worst blocker. Hood also played DT. I just took it for granted that AC had the ball the way your were talking.

I WOULD TAKE ROGERS OR BLAKELY OVER COLEMAN ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. COLEMAN WILL BE EASY TO REPLACE.

what do people think about their head coach leaving??who will they get???

Halls coach maybe..

Pemberton's heading to GA. Can't imagine smith wouldn't follow.

One of the football players told me smith was going somewhere in texas. And no i am not the same as that creep shamwow. I agree with IrishBball when he said that he overworked the athletes in his class. He had the credentials to be a football weight trainer, but when it came to talking about baseball, he was convinced it was all in your arms (its not) so great football coach but not the person the school needed to hire. i take back what i said earlier.

Tri county linebacker of the year.... never heard of it. No such award unless it was voted on by his parents!

I'm sure his parents have always thought that and they would probably vote on it given the chance. However, ask Mr. Ron Berry about it. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
