Everyone see Jenkins at the Vanderbilt game last night? They said he was leading the nation in scoring!! I am not sure how they know that...but I guess that's true. I have only seen him play once in person, but he put on a show.

 

My only question about him at the next level is his side-to-side quickness, which would effect him more on the defensive side of the ball. I just wonder how well he will be able to guard. He doesnt have the quickest first step I have ever seen. But if he is open--he's definitely a guy you want shooting the ball!

 

I am sure he is a lock for a back to back Mr. Basketball award winner.

 

How often does the AAA winner come from the Middle TN area. This year 2 of the 3 canidates are from Mid-Tenn. Either would be deserving, and from what I remember about Jackson last year--Im not surprised to see his name up there again.

I asked that question more than once and barely got an answer ....good luck. I wasn't dissing the kid either....was just curious. One thing is certain...he can shoot from the numbers he consecutively puts up.

Wes Long is a pure shooter, mostly threes. Not really a re-bounder, or defensive player. He could use his size more on the inside, doesnt follow his shot. Great kid though.
