its according if they show up ready to play or not. The last two games they have struggled to do anything.

Considering that 8 players have had that bad virus since last Thursday, I would say that they have played pretty good.

Also they are still averaging 29.4 point spread per game. I give these girls a big pat on the back for stepping up while they are very sick and getting the job done no matter how sloppy it looked. They are all feeling much better today and just maybe they will pull this one out. Polk CO. is a very well coached team and can play with most any team in the state.

Iwasn't taking anything away from Central, just trying to get them fired up a bit.

There are a couple of Polk "allies" that are students at Central who did a great job of getting Central fired up for their last contest. I'd say that it will happen again at school tomorrow.

I think it will be another hard-fought contest between two programs that have a long history.

If Central shuts down German, they should be fine. I think they'll probably win by 15-20. Did anyone see Adams steal the ball, split two defenders, dribble the ball between her legs from behind and then hit a jumper from the top of the key agains Meigs the other night? That was the best play I've seen all year.

That i would have to say is one of Adams best games she played this year. She really look good on both sides of the ball. Thank god she will be around 2 more years she has a chance to be a big time college basketball player.

Central wins by 15+ tonight. I have watched Polk play the last two games, and they seem to be relying on the German girl on every play. They look lost out there without her, it seems as if no one else wants to even bring the ball down the court. I hope Polk goes far in the region, but they will need to step it up from the way they have been playing. Congrats on second place.

    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
