This one could get VERY ugly... Morgan Faulkner is a great player & has carried her team thru the tournament. But Clarkrange has a good enuff defense 2 stop her. As they did KC for most of the game today & Forrest's Beth Hawn Wednesday. Congratulations to both teams for making it this far. Clarkrange by 20+, but anything can happen in a state championship game. Don't count MAM all the way out.

Today i saw Clarkrange play for the first time. I must admit that i was impressed. Madison played a great game today, they came out ready to play and made things happen. I truly believe that if we can play tomorrow the way that we played today, we could very well give CR a run for their money. And while it may be true that Morgan Faulkner has carried the lady Mustangs this far, if Clarkrange CAN manage to stop Faulkner, we have players that are very capible of stepping up to the plate. We have great perimeter shooters, great defense, and an excellent post game which of course revolves around Faulkner. Madison has a great group of devoted fans aswell as players. GO LADY MUSTANGS! Congrats to both teams on a great season, may the beast team win!

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
