look here buddy idk who u r but i sure hope i find out when we play yall.yea we did beat a good red bank team the may be 3-8 but they still a good team. yall havent played and good teams so far besides tullahoma..... and yall barely beat grundy with lucas pitching.... we killed grundy... plus tonight we played a pretty darn good baylor team and lost by 2. but it was 10 to 3 goin into the bottom of the 7th, but we fought back with 5 runs and a 2run shot by bartley but it was 2 late. baylor has some power hitters and hit 3 out against us. but we hit the ball and played good D. but i guess we will find out who has the better team this season, ans our players are ready to kick yalls tails cuz yall all talk and yall talkin bout how good yall are.

 

 

You may find out who I am when yall play Marion, but I will be in the stands. I am probably old enough to be yall's daddy. Back when I played, Sequatchie was actually good, and the team to beat in the district. You would figure a school with almost twice the enrollment that yall would be able to beat marion. You just mentioned the main difference in Marion and Seq in your above post. I agree that yall beat Red Bank and that is a good win for your program, they are a good team, I was only joking when i was giving you guys a hard time by beating them, but I forget that yall can't joke up that way. You also mentioned battling with baylor and playing them close. That is never mentioned at marion. If you lose then there isn't a morale victory..................its a loss, plain and simple.

 

Also, in my opinion, you can't really blame a coach for the total fortunes in your program. I agree that they are somewhat accountable, but coaches always get too much credit and too much blame. The program is mostly made from the kids working hard and how talented the kids are that are there.

like if seq had won 3 district championships in a row they wouldn't be on here jawin about how good they are..lol get real, half these people on here talkin about Marion arent players they are fans, i believe Coach Roberts has taught his team a little more respect than to be on a website talkin about how good they are..they do the talkin in between the lines..Seq for some reason is suppose to have the best team every year on here but some how it never goes their way..wish both teams luck..should be a great district matchup..to be the champ you gotta beat the champ thats how it goes in every sport so stop talkin about it, DO IT

well based on the current poll. marion is # 6 in the STATE. nobody else in the district made the list. not even the east TN poll. not to mention the fact that they are the 3 time defending champ. its still theirs to lose...

who said that marion had it in the bag???? I think all that has really been said is that the championship runs through marion...........that isn't saying that Marion has it in the bag, just saying that when you win the district x number of times, then you have to beat marion to be the district champs. Looks like it is shaping up that way now.........if Seq sweeps marion they are the champs, and if mc splits they are the champs, right???
