alligator_73
Championship game Yucaipa - 10 Arlington - 0 Arlington had it's prom at the same time and had to play backups except for 2 junior starters. They brought up a freshman pitcher to start game. Saying that, Yucaipa is the real deal with 2 players projected to be first or second round selections. tndragon
Jonathon Vaneaton (sp?), pretty good pitcher. From my understanding he has signed with Memphis. Sure do appreciate that humbling shellacking yall just put on CBHS. Good ball club over there at Collierville this year. Not to say they aren't always good, but this year's team seems like it could end up being pretty special. Good luck rest of the year. Van Eaton did sign with Memphis. It was nice to see C'ville bounce back from the morning loss to Yucaipa. Man that team was strong from top to bottom. Hopefully C'ville will peak at the right time this year. Does anyone know if an All Tournament Team has been released???

longoffthetee
How good was Yucapai? Third baseman was man among boys. 6-4 235 signed with USC but will never play there. He will be first rounder. Awesome program!! They left Memphis and went straight to another tourney in San Diego. Third baseman came in relief one game. Threw 3 pitches...91,92, and 93. Ball game. cbg
It seem like the last few years there has not been as many good out of state teams as when the tournament started. This year you had Yucapai and I remember when Key West, FL & Mater Dei, CA were in the tournamnet with very strong teams. What is the problem getting good teams from out of state? Who wants to come to Memphis, TN? All we have is crime and BBQ. As good as some of the BBQ is it doesn't outweigh the possibility of getting mugged or worse.
