Well I hope Coach Montgomery comes back He has done alot for me and some other past players.

 

 

I am for Coach Montgomery coming back to. But what was the real reason he left in the first place?

Well for one, the kids have said you told them you were already hired down there for next year, and running their weight room. You and Paul are like peas and carrots. Last, we really don't have a PE opening. What about Grundy, you told me Ken loved you like a son, I figured you might get the job up there. Good luck.

well you should know by now not to believe everything a student tells you. Me and ken are close friends. Paul and I are friends to, but every body has to answer to someone else don't you agree.

listen these people down here have had it we want something new an ole possum an Sam are not the answer they have had their chances apparently they couldn't get it done. we want some new blood an give those kids something they deserve iv talked to at least 20 people not including players that say they want a new coach not a comeback. Whitwell needs someone that will lead them in a new direction an get those boys motivated. they have enough talent to be used down there for something other than a losing season or just another crap coach.

KL stopped and ate at Hardee's today in Whitwell and heard that Thacker was won of the leading candidates for the job. Is this true? Would he be able to do football and basketball?

maybe ole sam should go back to coachin at cumberland (oops i mean get back on as a security guard). i know how easily one could confuse these two occupations since they are so similar. and condra needs to figure out what he wants to do with his life instead of wastin these kids' time. i know the parents are tired of investing their time and money in a failing program. that's why whs turned into a ghost town after 08 with all the kids quittin or transferring. who can blame em when all the coaches they've ever had have done the same thing, give up and move on to somewhere else. if we keep gettin coaches who have the mentality of condra, sam, AND taylor, then the kids are gonna keep givin the same half butt effort on the field. the stats prove it, there hasn't been a winning season with any of these men. i agree with cagedtiger, we need some NEW blood on this coachin staff.

if he was named head coach i guarantee most of those kids would quit. he's not even qualified to coach basketball i dunno how he got that job. hiring thacker for anything more than a p.e. teacher is a joke. the water boys are more qualified to coach than that joker monkey. maybe he can catch a ride with tim back to jasper (and sam).

Peas and carrots? I was hoping for more than just vegatables. Sam and Paul are good friends and have worked together in the past. I understand that they haven't seen each other in many moons. I am starting to believe that Sam has more important things to do than hang around and tell stories.

 

The year that Sam was the head coach at Whitwell the boys played harder than they have since the early 90's. He motivated them and got the kids in the weightroom. Anybody that played them could testify to that. Now I do not fully understand why he left in the first place but if anyone could build Whitwell back up it is him. The kids were fundamentally sound and you win ballgames like that.

 

As for going to Marion County High School - Any program would be better if they could get Sam to be a part of them. I know for a fact that if a position was available Sam would be one of the first people called to fill it. That is how much confidence that MC has in him.

 

As for answering to someone else - Mrs. Montgomery handles a pretty mean skillet I have been told!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

well all sam did was hang around and tell stories tryin to jumptart a stand-up career. but seriously his beggin aint gonna do him good anymore. everyone down here knows how he is. yeah he's got some knowledge but he ain't doin nothin with it by playin hopscotch around the valley like old taylor. since you guys love them so much down there why don't you just hire them both. that way it would fix yalls problem with crooked coaches and weight trainers and it would get them out of everyone else's hair. its a win win situation fo sho

Please enlighten me on "crooked coaches". Anytime you want to show up and explain would be even better. I know that probably is not going to happen since you are hiding behind your screen name.
