cancelled all the time. Football games are played come heck or high-water. Why is this?

 

Soccer games are not canceled all the time. SOme people do not want their fields to be ruined so thats why some are canceled. Other then that, they are played.

I've played a game on a day that had rain for three hours before the match. The fied had puddles and was a muddy mess. It would have been ugly even on a sunny day. When the match started, the sun went down and the temperature dropped to below freezing. It started to sleet and players were getting very wet and very cold.

 

I wouldn't say that games are cancelled all the time. They are often played in the worst of conditions

I believe all the games are being played on White House's field. They do have one of the best-kept fields around.

i think rank 1-3 play at 7PM and rank 2-4 play at 5PM

More money in most football programs to repair the fields, maybe. Harder to reschedule in football where one game per week is the norm, probably. Or have you seen the t-shirts with the soccer ball being a normal brain and the football being "your brain on drugs"? Last year 1st round games were played at the top seeds field and the rest at White House. I believe that's the plan this year too.

No, they will be played at top seed's location at 7pm the first round then at white house the rest.
