Would be disappointing if he even interviews for the job. He told the parents and players when he was hired that he was interested in being at Seymour for a long time and looking forward to building a program. Their theme for the season was "Believe". Would be Seymour's 3rd coach in 3 years.

He was supposed to interview along with some others. He would be a good hire if LC can get past the way Windell left last time. The only thing you have to be concerned with is will he stay long. The good thing is I think he is getting married to someone from that area (LC) this summer. So that might keep him there.

I can't blame him if he wants to leave Seymour, they are down next year, and there is a certain father that would make me disgusted to deal with on a daily basis.

There's my 1 and 1/2 cents worth. Maybe one day I will give the whole 2 cents worth.

I'm not a LC Panther, I'm a Knoxville Panther! My kids go to Seymour and I am disappointed if he leaves mostly because he said he would be at Seymour for a while and I'm assuming that is one of the reasons he got the job. It would be nice to have some stability. He has at least brought a lot of energy to the program. If he leaves it wouldn't be surprising I guess since he stayed at Oneida, Anderson County, and Lenoir City 2-3 years max

You're right Dyron, they will be way down- and shouldn't you know! Why don't you name some returning players- or maybe even more than 5 returning players?! The fact is that they return a fiesty but low in numbers Junior class but a VERY loaded Soph and Fresh class. According to unapproved website we have one player in the top 100 (one listed 124 and is easily a top 50 player!) and another 2 freshmen ranked in the top 100 in the state while the soph class has no less than 7 very, very good players. Couple that with the fact that Seymour is probably actually benefitting from the move from AA to AAA as they now "avoid" Carter (state tournament team), Fulton (enuf said), AE (arguably could have/should have been state champion). Yeah, sounds like a down year. C'mon Nix, spill the beans as its VERY clear that you are VERY close to the program and know what youre taking about. Let's hear your 2 cents worth!!!
