Any word on the winner of this region championship game?

 

 

 

Rained out yesterday and rescheduled for 5 o'clock tomorrow (Monday). I wouldn't count on it though because the field wasn't tarped Friday night which is why it didn't get it Saturday and there has been little to no sunshine since then and it isn't in the forecast for tomorrow. The tournament is being held at Briarcrest who in my opinion was very irresponsible for not tarping Friday night. If you want to host a region tournament, be prepared to call the entire team up there even if you have been eliminated to tarp and work the field.

 

Who is the 3 seed (becoming the 5 for East/Middle) from the middle?

BA beat BGA today

Doesn't look good for today either. Seeing as it rained a good portion of Sunday, and if they never got that tarp on there, I would think it would be pretty hard to play it. Unless they want to slip around in mud.

 

Not good on Briarcrest's part to not take care of their field any better than this. This can really push things back for everyone if they can't get this game in today

No seeding games in the West.

 

 

The winner of BA and McCallie will play JP2

SBA will play the loser of BGA and Webb. BGA or Webb will be traveling to SBA.

CBHS plays the winner of that same game. Same Scenario, BGA or Webb will be traveling.

MUS plays the loser of the BA McCAllie game.

 

Confusing enough? Straighten it out if I mixed anything up.

That could be interesting. These seeding games are weird enough. But now, if the SBA win is interpreted as an upset, BGA and/or Webb's starting pitcher could be their equipment manager. I know BA is starting a freshmen JV pitcher against McCallie, because of the lack of reward for a win. What do you do when a win is almost a penalty? Weird format.

      I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.

      You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.

      I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
