Also Ryan Sharpe at Clinton

Sorry I just don't see it. No disrespect to the kid, but I saw Clinton play about 6 times last year, and I couldn't tell you exactly who he is. If he is their post that transfered in then I would say he is a good ball player, just not quite the top in east Tennessee. I would say CJ and Darian are very good ball players from Clinton.

On subject:

Tyler Hood, Lester Wilson, and Jalen Steele are definite locks.

- I would include the Gardner kid from MoEast, I am pretty sure he didn't graduate

- The Tarwater kid from Webb

- Naler from CAK

- White and Campbell from Bearden (I believe these are the right names of the 2 I was thinking of, kind of hard to remember with the the big 4 from last year.

- The big kid at Central I believe is name is Holloway

- Ballard from William Blount

- T Pryor from AE, Even though he has baggage, I think he is a tremendous talent that has a lot to still bring to the table.

- there are many others, I just can't remember all of their names since I haven't seen them in a few months.

Austin Gardner - Morristown East

Jefferson County has Jacob Lanning, Nathan Sherrod, and Austin Collins

Agree with Gardner and Lanning. Don't think I can put Sherrod and Collins in same category. Good high school players, but they would not even start for most good programs, might not play at all in great programs. Is Lanning going to play this year? Great player, but tough to get looks when you don't play.

Dont forget T.Irons from Oak ridge if new coach got any sense this kid can fill it up. Also Tookie and J. Williams from West. The big kid from Central name is Mcbee but Holloway can play to as well as Dre.

Jajuan Williams from West is probably the best pure athlete in East Tennessee. He has some bigtime hops. I have only seen him play a couple of times so I can't really comment on the rest of his game but make no mistake about it....... he can definitely get up and has good length as well.

You right about his hops I seen him play last year and seen him play this summer with the Magic he is getting better needs to work on his shot more and be more aggressive once he get that down watch out.

Craig "The Professor" Bradshaw (Greenbrier) is also a lock

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
