Eddie Moore was a junior and the crowd was rocking the Ambulance. He was severely dehydrated at half time.

Now that is just a down right mean thaing for a feller from J-@ss-per to say. OP left out of his story how Jasper got the name for its mascot. It started out around 1908 as the Jasper Worriers and somewhere along the line, someone misspelled it.

 

Edit: The town got its name because of being the county seat. They were responsible for conducting the census which including figuring out important statistics such as how many Jack @sses Per mile there were.

RLH, you forgot to let everyone know how South Pissburg got its name... But I think the name speaks for itself, and we all know that sewage runs down hill... I remember that game where the Marion-Jasper fans showed great class and rocked the ambulance of a dehydrated Eddie Moore. I believe Moore was having a good first half and then dehydrated. That has been awhile ago though. Big J is again proving to be The Best football Ambassador around these parts.
