Two from Sequatchie sign

Two 09 Sequatchie graduates will be playing next year in college. Previously announced, Will Kiper, a 6'2" forward, signed with Bryan, and 5'10" guard Ben Cartwright has signed with Lambuth. Kiper averaged roughly 13 points and 8 rebounds, He has a good outside shot and became an effective inside scorer. It was good to see him even take the court as a medical condition for a while looked to be in the way of it. Cartwright scored 10 ppg. He did a good job cutting down on turnovers this past season and worked hard on becoming a good defender, which he achieved. The scoring has always been there and he can make his own shot. It couldn't have been easy on him with expectations and comparisons as his dad is one of the most recognized athletes ever to graduate from the school and then his brother came in as a 9th grader with a lot of deserved attention but Ben performed well for the most part. Congratulations to both.
