ART10
To MTCSFAN Eagleville did play a AAA school it was WarrenCo. in a Woodbat Tourney and I'm pretty sure Eagleville came out victorious.
CoffeeBreak
Looks as if Cascade effectively has 1st place wrapped up (again). They have series remaining with Moore County, Boyd and Huntland. I have to believe Cascade is heavily favored in each of those games. Stranger things have happened but I see them winning at least 5 of the 6 if not 6 of the 6. That leaves the following teams fighting for the coveted 2nd place spot (coveted because that means you host part of the district tournament): (1) Forrest: series remaining with Community, MTCS and Eagleville. (2) Huntland: series remaining with Moore County, Boyd and Cascade. (3) MTCS: series remaining with Eagleville, Forrest and Community. (4) Eagleville: series remaining with MTCS, Community and Forrest. How do you think each of these four teams will do down the stretch? I'm going to guess Forrest wins 4 out of 6; Huntland wins 4 out of 6; Eagleville wins 3 out of 6 and abstain from guessing about MTCS. RevoGamer15
Let me go ahead and break down the district so everyone will understand. Moore county- not much talent there a bland team with guys that need more experience on the field. Huntland-Big hitters a strong ace with a good back up didnt see a relief pitcher, wild card this year because they are new. MTCS-talent of course they will not be hosting districts this year so thier advantage that they have had is now gone lots of talent.Cascade- paitient hitters nice 1 and 2 pitcher we will see if they keep it together district time. Forrest- on and off with the bats, young pitching staff good defence but the talent is there. Unionville-.....is unionville. Eagleville- is coming along but not quiet there yet. and boyd hopeless. cant wait for district tourney!
MTCSFAN
MTCS has a big Monday, Tuesday series with Eagleville. Should be 2 great games with both teams needing to sweep to improve their district standings. MTCS and Eagleville series has been very intense the last couple of years. Look for the same this year, going to boil down to who wants to win. Probably will see some small ball to get some runners on and make things happen. MTCSFAN
Game 1 goes to Eagleville with the Cougars playing sloppy. Game 2 tonight. Hopefully MTCS can refocus and come away with a split. Hats off to Eagleville as they played well and hit the ball hard. Should be a good night for baseball.
CoffeeBreak
District Standings after week 5: Cascade 9-1 (still to play: Boyd, Huntland) Forrest 7-3 (still to play: MTCS, Eagleville) Huntland 7-3 (still to play: Moore County, Cascade) Eagleville 6-4 (still to play: Community, Forrest) MTCS 5-5 (still to play: Forrest, Community) Community 3-7 (still to play: Eagleville, MTCS) Moore County 3-7 (still to play: Huntland, Boyd) Boyd 0-10 (still to play: Cascade, Moore County) Still a race for #2 (and co-host of the district tournament). The outcome of the two Forrest series is big in terms of seeding for the tourney.
