The dead period started on Monday which means they cannot work out or be at the facility at all. They will start back workouts the 2nd full week of July. There will be no pads till August.

Players can work out all they want to on their own. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Somebody ask Taylor Edwards what tricks he picked up while at football and conditioning camp at the University of Texas in Austin week before last......I know one thing he learned....everything really is bigger in Texas! LOL.

Haha funny. If ur thinkin taylor is going to get out muscled by anyone in this conference your kidding yourself. I;ve seen first hand what this kid can do to oppoents roops size... Nothin will stop him!

Taylor will probably be hurt or not playing most games for missing practice. He has absolutely no self discipline. I doubt that he went to Texas for football camp and if he did it was a total waste of time and money. You cant buy success you have yo work hard for it and he only works hard at getting out of work. He has some talent from what i have seen and heard but not much toughness or desire. And those two will get you much farther than raw talent.

i have to agree with the cloudland fan. however the roop part isnt true whoever said that.. bulldogmania maybe? what happened to the website? back to taylor. he has the skills to be good but wont put in the hours.if this years seniors can show him heart and the desire to win then he will be a force.

What you want people bashing on players and killing what ever pride they have in themselves? Taylor edwards may or may not have desire or toughness. But who cares, and My website is doing just fine. And will be fully operational as soon as the season starts! HAVE A NICE DAYYYY!!!

thats not it at all. however bulldogmania taylor edwards head doesnt need to get bigger. i play with him while u watch. im simply saying that he needs to work on those things. ive talked to him in person and told him this face to face with fellow players such as logan andrews cody madden brett price and lucas teague.for some reason i dont think all these players can be wrong< we want taylor to play or we wouldnt go outta our way to talk to him. bashing on sum1 and telling them what they need to hear and work on are two different things. he needs those to simple things because on friday nights hampton will look to him to help secure a win and no win is given, you have to take it and it takes 11 players on both sides of the ball to walk off that field with a win. taylor is working on these things and youll see a more mature athlete on the field. hope this explains what im trying to get across. taylor has been working and yes he did go to texas therefore missing a few days but maybe he can show all the hampton players some stuff to help us beat clouland or anyone else we will play.

    • What you are saying is true about high school athletics being a privilege and not a right, but NO ONE ever knows what will happen if a case goes before a jury.  Again, I have been in a couple of jury rooms and it's always a little crazy.  That is why my prediction is you will see a settlement before the case goes to trial.
    • What rules does everyone not operate by?
    • So you want a have and have not split? Sound like the perfect ramp to elitism. Tell those rural kids that they'll never be able to compete with those urban kids. They're not good enough right? Or we could just do what travel baseball does and have tournaments every weekend and give kids big fake rings for winning a few games. The suburban public schools are typically the ones with more funds. Urban and rural schools have more in common in finances than they do with rural schools. I've taught and coached in all of it. The difference is attitude. But if you're jsut going to say you can't compete because you don't have the money then that's an excuse. Especially in basketball. The balls are the same size, the rims are the same height and size. The ball dribbles the same in some rural gym in mountains as it does in the FedEx forum. Charters come and go like a fart in the wind. They are no real threat to anyone. Magnets could be but rarely do they win either. It just hasn't been seen in Tennessee.
    • That’s a good line. Wins would be Soddy, Howard, and Ooltewah. Maybe East Ham again or Knox Central. Tyner maybe but being that late in the year it’s hard to say. I don’t think we get by Red Bank this year.    Rhea could be anywhere from 2-8 to 6-4.
    • I agree with the Farragut and Bradley claim. Those will both be wins. Bearden like you say is depending on when you get them in comparison to when the wheels fall off.  As far as West goes I’m 50-50. They have been able to reload so far so until they show me they haven’t I can’t count them out.
