09-10 Hampton Bulldogs Basketball: Updates

Recommended Posts

Hampton fan shows true colors last night when an idiot adult fan hit a student from jc and just about started a bleacher clearing brawl. WHEN YOU GO TO A HIGHSCHOOL BASKETBALL GAME AND CHOOSE TO SIT NEXT TO THE STUDENT SECTION YOU ARE GOING TO HEAR SOME THINGS THAT YOU DO NOT APPROVE OF, BUT TO PHYSICALLY ASSAULT A STUDENT IS RIDICULOUS. AND THEN SOME OLDER MAN DECIDED HE NEEDED TO HIT THE STUDENT AS WELL, THIS COULD HAVE GOTTEN REALLY UGLY. ADULTS SHOULD GO TO GAMES AND ACT LIKE IT.

HAMPTON HAS A REALLY NICE BALL CLUB AND TO HAVE FANS THAT CANT CONTROL THEMSELVES IS REALLY AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE COMMUNITY.

As any visitor knows, when you go to Johnson Co for a game, you sit next to the student section whether you want to or not. When you lump visitor fans alongside your student section, you're asking for trouble. I understand there was jeering and calling all throught thegirls game, on a personal level, which is un-called for anywhere. What really got the ball rolling, however, was when a Hampton player popped his shoulder out at one point, and some nitwit from JC yelled to do it to his other arm. The adults involved were this kids family, so it's easy to see how things escalated. In this day and age, fans need to be kept apart. At some point, there's going to be a major riot at some game because of tensions and emotions running out of control. Comments were made to JC administration about what was being said and done, but all that done was a shrug of the shoulders. Go figure.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
