ksgovols
Harpeth returns almost everybody. Hickman suffered heavy graduation losses but has a talented qb. Now that Hickman is at real 2A numbers, will they continue to dominate? I'm guessing it's a one touchdown affair either way. Hickman has a week 0 game behind them while Harpeth has looked impressive in 3 of their 4 pre-season scrimmages including a jamboree win over 5A West Creek. Harpeth 21-13. Hoganknows
Last time the Indians opened up at Hickman County was in 1997(winning 14-0) and the Tribe won 11 in a row before bowing out in the second round of playoffs to Huntingdon. Maybe this season can be a repeat performance..Good Luck
hcallday
Did Harpeth get a new Offensive Coordinator this year?
Gerry Bertier
What offense is Hickman running this year? Are they sticking with the spread or changing philosophies?
ksgovols
Did Harpeth get a new Offensive Coordinator this year? I wouldn't say new, just different. Brent Weatherly has been on the football staff many, many years and has been the OC previously. He took a year off, but is back this season. easteaglebaseball
Hickman looked awful tough against Houston County, I look for a close home win for Hickman. 21-
OutofBounds
Harpeth has the potential to be very good on both sides of the ball this year. In the past few years, they were missing a cylinder or two in one or more parts of their game. The early appraisal on their preseason performance would indicate they are back on all cylinders for the first time in a good number of years. I think we'll know more after the first few games. YELLOWJACKETinMOTION
Going to Hickman will be a tough challenge. Hickman may have lost a bunch of seniors, but they still looked pretty good a few weeks ago, lots of good size and executed well. Harpeth is tough, but Hickman should pull it out.
