ChattanoogaCannon
Notre Dame 1 Soddy-Daisy 1 Both goals were scored in the first half. Soddy scored second on a beautiful cross followed with a header. I was late arriving so missed ND's goal. Both teams had equal chances in 1st half. 2nd half was a different story with ND maintaining possession on their half for the most part. I don't think Soddy got a shot off. Soddy keeper had to work for a living in this half. I believe she was a substitute and did not play in the 1st half. It was good to see lots of Soddy girls that I have watched grow up at Middle Valley.

speedrush11
Oak Ridge looks great, but I can't wait to see how they in the annual Katie Hunter Tourny this weekend. Some competition will help see how tough they really are. Great Job on the rankings. Keep up the good work.

Kudos to both SD keepers, they played well, especially the first half keeper that almost pinned the ball against the crossbar to avoid a ND score.... smeagle1
Signal Mountain 3 Franklin County 1. Signal is now 3-0...... Any prediction for Tuesday's game against Notre Dame? It should be better than last years games. SM is playing well right now and they are still a very young team. They are doing much better this year controlling the ball. Last nights shots on goal were SM 44 and Franklin County 6. I must say the Franklin County goalie got a workout. I'm sure the shots on goal will not be this lopsided on Tuesday. Should be fun to watch.

Sounds like SM has EHS challenge, lack of finishing. Our finishing % was in the dumps last night as well. Girls had tired legs, though...only one sub because of illness and injury. 21 EHS shots to ERHS' 1.

graybard
Agree that SM should be stronger this year vs ND. With a 3-0 record, home advantage and motivation to avenge last year's meeting, SM should come out strong. Still, ND has at least ten players - starters and subs - who can and do score regularly. With a strong center midfield and a swift defensive line, ND will press SM hard in their backfield. I'll go with 5-0 ND.
