Millington vs Bartlett

After a rocky start polluted with 4 turnovers in the first half for Millington they were able to hold on to a 14-7 halftime lead. They seemed to get it together in the 2nd half with the Defense playing some great football and the Offense holding on to the ball , Millington was able to go on to win 42 - 7. Seemed to be just what the doctor ordered to boost that confidence going into the M&M Bowl against Munford next week. One thing that could be a little snag in the road to victory in the M&M Bowl was a little scuffle as the clock ran out and a whole lot of talking between the officials and the coaches. Will there or could there be any suspensions handed out for next weeks game???

Congrations to Millington you guys did an awesome job on our o . Held us to then a 47 yards total, ran all over us in the 3rd quarter. I think if Bartlett had Matthews and harrison for this game it would have been alot closer then the score indicated. I did see number 64 for Millington throw a punch at a Bartlett player so he might be suspended for the Munford game. I'm really impressed with Roland Genesey 69 run in the 3rd quarter. Bartlett has a long way to go on o and d. But Bartlett will get better . Good luck to Millington over Munford next week while Bartlett travels to Houston good luck to both teams.

First I want to congratulate the Trojans on a solid win. We had quite a few players playing hurt and banged up. They showed a lot of grit. I hate that Bartlett had 2 players suspended. I hope that Millington and Bartlett can rekindle that old rivalry. Even winning I feel that the officiating was terrible. I would hope that before any suspensions are handed down by this crew that TSSAA would review the film first. Now time to concentrate on next Friday. One Game at a time.
