Scott Shasteen is the best P.A. announcer in Middle Tennessee. He has done P.A. for Tullahoma High School and Motlow College basketball for a number of years and would love to be involved with a larger platform. He currently does play-by-play for Tullahoma football, has a weekly talk show, and a weekly TV show with Murphy Fair.

I know its a shameless self-promotion, but I am he and I am very interested.

Steve Williard at EHS is great, Chip Hoback at MBA has his moments but has a great voice and is very attentive to everything going on and whoever is announcing at Smyrna really knows how to get it done.

I am too a PA announcer for EHS baseball but I'm still learning and not very interested in going elsewhere.

Cheese Richmond @ Trousdale County is the best for us. Smith County has the worst though.

:roflolk: WOW

Well maybe I was being a little harsh on them boys from Smith county. The radio broadcasts aren't that great. BTW, Cheese is not the best by a longshot though. But, I wouldn't want anyone else.

RE: Trousdale County -- Jerry Richmond does play by play for RADIO, not public address. The worst PA I've ever heard was a couple of weeks ago at at Portland ninth grade game. The guy was horrible, cracking bad jokes, making fun of the opposing team. Mr. Gideon fired him the next morning.

I know this thread is old, but there is a guy at Overton who has a great voice. I heard him at the Metro Jamboree do the PA for the entire event and at the Overton/Stratford game, he was doing "promos" for the Bobcat concession stand. He has a voice that sounds like the character "Lotso" from Toy Story 3. He has a down home, folksy style that I really enjoyed. He would make a great narrator for Cracker Barrel commercials.
