Well, what does everyone think about this game next week? Both programs took a big step forward on Friday night. Who's going to win it?

The question I am trying to find an answer to is when was the last time Powell and Oak Ridge played a regular season football game?

As far as I can tell, Oak Ridge and Powell have never met in a regular season game. I got the info from Coach Saunders website (http://hsfs2.ortn.edu/myschool/bsaunders/football/Good to see that coming to an end. Looking forward to seeing the renovated field. It should be a good game between 2 evenly matched teams. It seems like we are finding some play makers and the defense is getting more stingy.

All i have to say is Powell team is coming together after the fulton loss.they have some big play makers like #2 Dyshawn Mobley,#10 Hunter Hodge, #1 Floyd Clark,etc.he transfered from AE he's a big part of Powell Football Team

I believe that you are correct. That was shared with me a while ago by dccattalk, and if anybody would know for sure, it is he.

 

These two schools are about 12 miles apart as the crow flies. They both have fan bases that follow each other no matter where they play. They should be playing every year, in my opinion.

Ill agree they are coming together....This Head coach and staff has done an excellent job .

 

You can see these kids improving so much from preseasons scrimmages to district games.
