Gallatin is back at home after being on the road the past 2 weeks. Looking forward to being back at Green Wave Stadium. Gallatin coming off an impressive win over the defending 4A state champs. Wilson Central will be coming in very hungry for their first win. Gallatin will need to have a good game plan to get the victory this week. Can't wait to see the game.

Dubc05, you might want to check your facts. It was an Oakland fan that said that Gallatin would mercy rule WC. Gallatin knows full well that they can't just show up and expect to win. With that said, having negative 60 something yards of offense against a less than top tier team was not exactly impressive. Gallatin will try to pound the rock as usual with Perry, Matthews, and Box. I think the key to the game will be the execution and effectiveness of Gallatin O and D lines. If they can play up to their potential then we should take this game. And before you get all tore up, I'm not saying its gonna be a blowout.

Just a side note, Gallatin gets Slayton will be back this week as the starting center and should get some snaps on defense.

Can't wait for the game Friday. Good to be playing in the Pit again.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
